So it looks like progress is being made again?

Dragonage is an interesting game exile. Oblivion and Sacred 2 have lots more flexibility in terms of open ended game play though.

Progress is being made. The file Exile sent me looks fantastic. I am trying to figure out the bamboo and stuff. I already have some bamboo and palm tree meshes to use. I really want to finish this by Sunday, so I'm gonna work my butt off to get this done. Oh, and yesterday I converted my Tsaesci race to use Robert's Male and HGEC Female textures, I'll post pictures later.

if you came across a txt file called newbambooseeds and 1 bamboo spt, you have to make a new tree id in the cs for the bamboo and add 1 seed to it. Then make another id and put a different seed number in it to gt different varieties.

I cant remember what was exactly in the file i sent, so sorry about any issues it might cause.

I think I got it figured out. I have come to a new problem though. When ever I try to generate a region the CS crashes. It's annoying and I don't know how I am going to overcome this.

cant say i know. region gen is finicky. you could seek help from the silgrad tower guys. i cant remember who's the resident landscape specialist though.

btw, did you get the billboard for the bamboo up and running?

are you working in a new esp? if so, make the region and worldspace first, then save the esp. manually edit some landscape (H) and save again. then you should be able to run generation just fine. I would start out with a small chunk to see how it looks and how well your computer handles it.

when generating anything more than a few cells the CS seems to freeze in place. trying to wake it up will cause it to crash. its not actually frozen, its just working behind the scenes.

Thanks Nerevar, I'll take that into consideration. I will manually edit some landscape, then test in a few cells and try again.

Edit:

Okay, I'm making some headway. I found the problem I set the size variable to 20.00, vanilla resources use at most 0.150.

Edit:

Also, not sure about the bamboo yet. When I tried to use is it also caused a crash.
