Books of Vvardefell??
What about books in the mod? Are these books just going to be imported from Morrowind or completly new stuff? I have also heard that Oblivion will feature books from all The Elder Scrolls games.

Anyone willing to contribute? I know I am ....... Big Grin

Most books from Morrowind also appeared in older tes games. So most books in oblivion are similar to the Morrowind ones.

Perhaps they can use books from Tamriel Rebuilt. There are some interesting ones.

Councilors of House Hlaalu, Hlaalu District, Imperial Era 432
(unfinished)

Council Affairs of Note
The council is pleased to report a reduction in the incidence of theft and violent crime in the Hlaalu House Districts, thanks to the vigilance of the Legions and stern sentences by the magistrates. The council laments the unfortunate disturbances of the public peace resulting from the increasingly aggressive competition between the Thieves Guild and the Camonna Tong for control of the black markets.
Cammona Tong influence has apparently left the House Hlaalu nobility, however, they are reportedly growing stronger and more violence is breaking out. The council anxiously awaits the Duke?s reply and reinforcements to guard the Hlaalu settlements.
Lord High Councilor of Hlaalu in Narsis orders the fortification of all Hlaalu holdings on Vvardenfell. Alliances are made with Nordic settlers colonizing the Sheogorad region.

Red Book of the Great House Redoran
[The Red Book is a yearbook of the affairs of the Redoran Council of Vvardenfell District for 3E 431. It lists the current members of the council and their residences. It also chronicles significant events and council actions for the year.]

Master Lord Garisa Llethri, by Grace of Almsivi, Honored Councilor of Redoran Council, Vvardenfell District, Lord of The northern Ashlands, of Llethri Manor, Manor District, Ald'ruhn, District of Vvardenfell, Province of Morrowind

Council Affairs of Note
Smuggling and organized crime have become increasingly aggressive and violent in the Redoran House Districts. The councilors blame local corruption, weakened enforcement, and aggressive competition between the Thieves Guild and the Camonna Tong.
An unfortunate tax revolt in Balmora was put down after significant property damage and loss of life. The council?s fears were justified in that there was a minor revolt in Maar Gan to the high taxes.
In addition to the Redoran holds of Maar Gan, Gnisis, Bal Isra, Ald Velothi, Khuul, and Ald Ruhn, the Redoran have recently gained a settlement in Foyada Bani-dad named Shishi, it is currently used as a training camp and military outpost.
The Council pressures the Duke to realize the legitimacy of the Redoran claims to Caldera and the area immediately around it.
The Council also warns the Duke that Ashlander warriors have been raiding Redoran settlements more often nowadays and asks that assistance be given to ward off raiders and the like.
Council Plans for the Future
The Redoran Council is intent on hunting down Sixth House raiders and cultists in the Gash region. Because of the presence of large caverns and two old Dunmer fortresses, it is easy for the cultists to hide and regroup in them. Therefore, in order for increased settlement of the Gash region, the cultists must be wiped out. Lord Miner Arobar?s soldiers are spearheading this campaign from his settlements in the North Gash.
The Council also protests the high tariffs on local beverages and is currently negotiating an agreement with the Duke in Ebonheart. If the Duke refuses to relieve the Redoran of the high taxes in addition to the tariff the Council threatens to no longer allow Hlaalu and Imperial trade caravans to freely cross their lands; the caravans and escorts that do not obey the potential new law will be arrested and their goods rightfully in the hands of the Redoran to be put into the vaults and coffers and a certain percentage spread among the people to promote a better economy.
Due to the rumors of increased Telvanni colonization, the Redoran asks the Telvanni Council and Duke Vedam Dren for permission to hunt down these renegades. The Telvanni Council of Vvardenfell has not given a reply, but regardless, if the Duke allows them to, the punitive campaign could bring great wealth to the Redoran in terms of loot, support, and land.

Councilors of House Telvanni, Telvanni District, Imperial Era 431
(unfinished)

Council Actions
New Telvanni settlements have been created. One is in Vas. The other Odirniran. The Velothi village of Vas has now grown a Telvanni mushroom tower and the wizard (necromancer) is Daris Adram, head of Tel Adram.
The settlement at Odirniran (Tel Faram) is still disputable. The Council urges Duke Vedam Dren to recognize that the settlement began as a garrison to protect the Telvanni against Hlaalu raiders. The fate of this settlement is to be seen.
The rogue wizard at Shishi was killed by Redoran; the Telvanni Council do not claim responsibility for his crime and agrees with his executation.
Tel Aruhn has become a mercenary training and slave trading city by the order of the Council. Although Telvanni trade slaves, they are used as household servants rather than laborers, unlike the Dres. The Council admits to the arming and training of mercenaries and soldiers purely for defense of their settlements; this alarms the other Houses and they urge the Duke to order the Telvanni to stop.
Disturbingly, two promising Telvanni sorcerers, Mavon Drenim of Vivec and Endase Avel of Tel Aruhn, disappeared 3 years ago in the Molag Amur region. The Council is worried about their sudden disappearance while traveling to Molag Mar and asks for Telvanni guards to be allowed to guard the Telvanni Compund in Vivec in addition to the Ordinators already present.
