Yes, PWN is the same guy as t3h_pwn3r_ii which reminds me: you don't yet have one of the Naming Codes which you will need to do any modding for us.

The reason is described here: New Modders Start Here . It's an abbreviation used to identify work done in the CS.

Nice ideas, folks! :yes:

Hi all;

Did i say that or are you talking about the first t3h_pwn3r? Thats why i put the _ii at the end as there is already one with that name, he is from pure pwnage.

I didn't know that. Anyway, let's keep things focused on the Sotho Tren quests. It helps to keep things easy to sort through when you're looking for specific info if there's a reduction on continuing with incidental chatter.

It's likely the Tren will trade in both but you can specialise in Skooma.

I had this idea about a possible first quest for the Sotho Tren, I've been working out the details and its not yet done, but I figured I'd bring it out anyway; so here we go. I divided the quest in different parts so it is easier to oversee.

Sotho Quest I
part 1
As soon as you enter the Stormhold castle, an Argonian, Weighs-a-lot, a so called emmisary from one of the tribal villages (I'd prefer Greenspring and you know why, but you can change that if you like) approaches you and asks you if you want to help him succeeding in his negotiations for peace with the city. If you agree, he tells you to drop off a box that he gives you and bring it to his contact back in Leyawinn, in Cyrodill. If you ask why or what is in the box he cuts you off with a sentence like ''We don't have time for this, it has to be delivered with haste!'', or: ''You are just to deliver the box, now get to it''.

part 2
When you enter Leyawinn a guy just wanders around town for most of the time (I'd prefer a new NPC, I'm sure I can fit in another house in Leyawinn just fine, in fact I have already found a spot when doing the quests with Mazoga on my Dwarven character, a very nice mod indeed XD). If you give it to him he thanks you and pays you a small fee (about 20 gold) for the troubles and then resides to his home. As soon as you come back in Stormhold a guard captain called Captain Dough escorted by two other guards will approach you and tell you that you have been busted transporting illegal goods over the border, they also say they can't arrest you right now because they have to be issued an order but it wont take much longer than a few hours. You are then not allowed to leave the city anymore.

part 3
A script will now prevent you from leaving the city and a popup will appear that tips you to go looking for Weighs-A-Lot. If you have found him he offers you to help you get out of your problems if only you join his group of dealers. Knowing that you will be executed for smuggling if this does not happen you hastily agree. As a counter to you being sucked into a guild you don't even want to be in as a player, the next quest popup will say: ''This 'emmisary', has put me before a difficult decision, I can do what he says, or I can tell the guards about his operation in the city and maybe win my freedom back that way''.

Part 4a will be one where you help the Argonian, part 4b where you tell the guards about him.

Part 4a
If you agree he sais he is going to need you to take out a possible snitch in the city before he tells the rest of his ''group'', whats about to happen. The possible snitch is a Wood Elf (want to select an existing NPC but I havent been able to find the list of Stormhold NPC's link plz... maybe). He is to reside in his house for the entire day only to take a small scroll in the early morning. He is an easy target, he is level 1 fixed and so for a higher level player will most likely be a one-shot. Anyway when you kill him, Weighs-A-Lot will be waiting for you outside the elfs house and tells you that your bounty will be gone within two hours. Wait two hours and you are free to leave the city again.

Part 4b
If you don't agree with Weighs-A-Lot, you just walk to Captain Dough and tell him about his operations, he sais he's gonna need some proof, so sneak into Weighs-A-Lots house and you will find a list with orders that he is to fullfill for his masters. Give it to the Captain and he will immediatly drop all the charges on you and lockup Weighs-A-Lot in prison. This leads to the optional 5b which is if you decide to join the Tren later anyway.

Part 5b
Talk to Weighs-A-Lot in his prison cell, and he sais that if you can bring a letter to his master for him, he will allow you another chance to join his mysterious ''group''. If you choose to do so, his master is an Argonian (preferably again an already existing NPC), in (again preferably Greenspring or maybe one of the bigger cities in the Beta installment). Then in your next visit to Stormhold Weighs-A-Lot will approach you again and tells you he has been broke out of jail. You are then elligible to join the guild.

Now I know this is a difficult quest to make, but I'm willing to work towards it myself step by step. It might not be in time for the beta, but so be it. Again this is still being worked on so please tell me what needs to be tweeked, or totally changed or maybe if the entire quest is just crap, just be honest K, that will be better.

Hi Miz;

I liked it, also, the not leaving city would be easy as pie, we just select the "lock" command in the result script to all the city doors, of course the player could just open up the console and unlock the gates, but if they do that, who cares.
i am willing to help, but Ig and deeza and KP should look this over though, in case it clashes. Right now, I am confused with the current situation of this Guild in terms of quests, but hopefully someone can elaborate.
So sign me down as a helper, for any quests really. (Just not Camo Critters)
Plus, we will have to add more building to greenspring. or they could just share with some of the other tenants.
i will PM you about Greenspring so check your inbox.

We will wait to see if they like it or it clashes, but, i think it would be a great misc quest any way!

Also, not to sure about the Leyawiin part but i like it, I am just not sure whether or not the modderators and admins will. Also, the Thieves Guild Fence in leyawiin would be a good choice if they give a thumbs up. He is argonian so it makes sense.

Yeah, Leyawinn is not part of the mod which makes it a bit mueeeeh-ish. But smuggling has to happen to a remote province, and Cyrodill already exists. If anyone has an idea for something we can use instead of Leyawinn just post it. Also before adding another house to Greenspring we should first get Ibsens permission to use the village. Once again thanks for helping me out, you truly PWN Tongue.
