I'm game for that if there are developers for it....it's hard to get people working in-synch at times but this would suit me...

the simplest, and most resource efficient, way to implement fishing would be to make an equitable fishing pole that has a random chance to catch a fish when used near water. perhaps an idle anim to match. it wouldn't require obse as far as i know, and would be relatively easy to make, leaving the devs available for more important tasks.

Well ST developed fishing anims. It may be worth checking if they're available for us too.
