Hello, I'd like to join... but have some doubts.
Hello everyone, my name is Scarlet, I'm from Spain, just recently I came across Morrowind and Oblivion and just fell in love with them, and now I want to see if I can help create some more beautiful places to explore... and your project seems to be the best choice.

I've been messing around with the CS for some days with nice results,
Please see them here;

(The first seven pics are the shots I uploaded from a castle I made, there is nothing more about it further)

So I was wondering if I could join solely as exterior designer...

I didn't really found myself at other things with the CS, but I think I can part with some thoughtfully designed exteriors for your project

Hello Anastassia and welcome to Silgrad Tower!!

You may join and you may do exclusively exteriors if you so choose. If you haven't already please check this page out. First you have to request a modder id here.

We have alot of areas to mod in. We even have a TES3 mod still being develop here @ the forums. It is about what matches your tastes. You could finish some modding in one area of the mod and change to another. The possibilities are endless Smile.

Hey have a great time and I hope your stay is very long.

ps: if you ever have a question this is the place to have it answered. We have some very knowledgeable folks hanging about most of the time.

Thank you Zurke, I'm in then, if everyone is like you (kind), I suppose I'll be with you for a very long time =)

So if there is anything I should do to be officially in the team, please le me know, I'll do it in a few hours when I return, thanks again!

Hi Anastassia! Welcome to Silgrad Tower!

I'm in charge of the development of the regions, and believe me when I say we've got plenty of exterior space that needs to be decorated. Big Grin Usually our work is set up in 'claims' which are posted on the forums, with modders first 'claiming' them and then developing the area. Right now, we're working on modding the road onto our landscape, so if you'd like to do that, we would certainly welcome your help there. Big Grin Let me know if you're interested, and I can send you some info (the formal claims for the roads have not yet been posted, but probably will be sometime in the next couple of days). Other than that, we also have some landscape claims (link) in some of the regions where the roads have already been modded.

Which type of landscape would you like modding most? (plains? forest? mountains? others?)

Also, if you have any questions about our world (such as what our land looks like (link - though note that map is pretty old, and I'll probably be updating it sometime in the near future.. the landscape has the same shape still, but is more detailed), what our cities are, etc...), feel free to ask them. Smile

No problem and good to hear.

As I stated you should request a modding id first. After that take a look in the 'Landscape claims' section. Considering you want to focus on exterior I think that is a good place to start. The moderator of that section will fill you in on the specifics after you post in the claim thread you are interested in.

I am sure other members will be along to welcome you Smile

RE: Hello, I'd like to join... but have some doubts.
Hi Anastassia, and welcome to our team Smile Yes there's a rather friendly and kind ambience to the Silgrad Tower team, soothing and relaxing in many ways and of course focused on all of us here having a good time working on our shared hobby. I can hardly remember the last time there was any sort of conflict here... must've been years ago.

I don't have much to chip in that hasn't already been said. It's great that you enjoy exterior modding because not many do, and we have quite a bit of work of that nature (pardon the pun) to do. Smile

A big welcome, Anastassia! You seem to be a perfect match for the team. I've been noticing that we seem to be a little short on the sort of 'designer'-type of modders that do the sort of work you do. We have people with many different skills but many of them specialise in modelling or some other area. I think this should work out well. Always nice to have yet another lady joining.....gone are the days of all-male creative PC projects!

Hi Anastassia!

I'm female too, and it's nice to have another "bird of the feather" join the project(s) around here.
( My goodness, sometimes the testosterone can be overwhelming. )

Yeah, don't let those little turds get you down. Dingleberries stick for a while, but eventually they fall off. Cool

Thank you all for the warm welcome =) I'm sure it will be great to share my new hobbie with you.

@TheImperialDragon, I'd love to help you with that, as soon as I get the lastest files or whatever is required to begin.. so if you would be kind enough to give me a hand with that, it would be apreciated...

@Zurke, thanks for reiterating, I'll go and post an abreviation request as soon as I'm through with this.

@Razorwing, thank you for the soothing words, and don't worry, I love punning...

@Ibsen's Ghost, I apreciate what you said, I hope not to disappoint...

@Koniption, heh, I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by "Bird of the feather" (Sorry, I'm a spaniard still working on her english, how embarrasing Confused), though I think it will be nice to meet you, thank you for the hi =)

That phrase refers to how birds of the same species fly in groups together. In this case, I'm referring to how "females" are a "species", and "males" are a different "species." Big Grin
