I'd like in!
Hi all. I know its a little late to be asking this but i'd rellay like to get involved with this project.

I've scoured the internet clean of mods for years but never really got round to doing them myself.

Recent developments in my life mean that i've got more time on my hands so i've started making a couple of my own mods but realised that i am certainly lacking in some areas like scripting, landscaping and dialogue.

However i figured that if I joined a project such as this, I could fulfill my passion without having to fall prey to my poor skills in certain areas.

I myself would prefer exterior building, cities in particular (all of my attempted mods were either new or expanded cities).

Personally I would love to see Morrowind live on, though its getting a little old now, but I do have faith!

So please could I join this project! Big Grin
Will start working again for TES3 Project soon....sometime.

Welcome To Silgrad Tower

You are not late at all, we have lots and lots of things currently in Development

Please feel free to browse the claims section and see if their is anything of interest to begin on.

Thier is plenty of room for a new town or village, the major towns and cities are pretty much layed out. If you are interested in adding a new village you may present your proposal for the new village in the claims
and coordination board and we will find a place for it.
****************************************
The number one question is which version of Silgrad do you have ?

Please advise and if you have any questions someone will answer them as quickly as possible

Enjoy
Bob

RE: I'd like in!
I have the 1.43 full, 1.46 repackaged, 1.0 texture fix and blacklight 1.3.

Will the village be on a landscaped or plain cell? I admit that i'm not that special at landscaping myself. (i prefer something solid to begin with and then edit). But I dont mind taking on something new.

OR if it'd be more useful, then I can make up a village or two where you wnat them.

Lastly, a quick question. Is the latest version compatible with the stanegau island mod? I believe it may just squeeze its way in between the mainland and vvardenfell. Cool

RE: I'd like in!
Very Good you have all you need

For now, if you'd like to start a new village then we just need to know your proposal. Name it give us a general idea of the village make up, type of homes, npc's anything specific

We are going to be considering some small villages in the Northern Regions between Cormaris View and Skyrim but that will come later.

Also some Hlaalu Villages and farms South of Karther Dale,

We are also looking for some small coastal villages which will straddle the Thir River. And some research and a proposed layout of Andrethis

and lots of really small settlements between BallFalls and the above mentioned Andrethis

Use the 1-4_6 release as it includes most of the landmass dis-regard any missing files, if you have any let me know and I'll get them to you

You can layout your village on flat land or you can attempt the terraining
yourself for practice

Pretty much all the land is bare which you will see when you get into the CS
pick an area and build away. But let me know asap what cells your going to use before you start.

Save it as a seperate esp and submit it for review, you might consider sending updates as you work on it so I can look and see if we run into any conflict (which I do not believe will happen)

This will definitly be a test for me as I have been the only one working exteriors on this mod. So lets see how it goes

I am not familiar with Stanegau Island Mod, if you have a link I will look and check it out for conflict

Thanks and Enjoy
Bob

RE: I'd like in!
Do you have a more detailed map showing the locations of all these places?

this is the link to the stanegau island mod
http://stoneguardian.com/Morrowind/

Additionally, do you have any need for a velothi-style canton city? One of my older mods was a city with three smaller, one larger and one open canton with seperate velothi houses posiotioned on the southern end of the peninsula to the SW of vivec.

It has no intereiors, NPCs and the exterior is around a third complete.

I could use TESFaith to shift it over to silgrad. Dont fret if you cant, I'd just be pleased if my work could be featured.

I gather up some screen shots with the cell locations listed

Thanks for the link I'll have a look at it

A small velothi village is fine, if you have it layed out just send a download link and I can get an idea of where it might fit. For the most part all the area we will work on will be redoran and Hlaalu, with settlements scattered about

Enjoy

RE: I'd like in!
The city is preety large, around 5 cells. If you still want to take a look at it then could you tell me how to upload the esp? This would be my first ever upload.

Thanks for making the screenies, I'll take a look at them.

meanwhile, if you could tell me which cells in the 1.46 esp could do with exteriors then I'll get started! Sorry to be a right pain but I cant find any of the landmass on the screenshot on the other thread.

RE: I'd like in!
Yes I would like to see it

I always use rapidshare, but I am told theirs other sites, just click the browse, find your file and upload it allows up to 100mb

http://www.rapidshare.com/

link to site above

which cells depends on what your looking to build
have a look at this map

http://s153358776.onlinehome.us/morrowind.jpg

anything from East-West 5 to East- West -19 is open
From North-South -20 to North-South -60

Some of these areas have not been terrained yet and may just be flat land or underwater

The areas that are boxed with letters in them are un-touchable also the cities of Bodrum, Ballfalls(Stonefalls)Kragenmoor, Varanis Hall are also un-touchable

If you'd like to start a village I would say for now take cells 5,-28, 5,-29 and 5,-30 and start a hlaalu coastal village

let me know

Enjoy

btw Exethalion

stanegau island is not compatible with Silgrad Tower, it is too far west
namely cells -12, and -13

but its a good looking island Big Grin
