Modding for Silgrad Tower
Hello everybody,

this thread will contain things that need to be done like unfinished interiors (or those that were never even started), missing NPCs, exteriors worthy of detailing and the like.

I'm still gathering information, but you can already make up your mind, if you'd like to volunteer for one (or more) of the 'jobs' offered.

Here we go:

Silgrad area
- Telvanni Pod
A bit south of Silgrad there is a Televanni building with a door that opens, but leads to no interior

- Vort Ancestral Tomb
A bit west of that above mentioned building there is a entrace to massive rock, also with no interior.

- Stormwyynd's house
Upper Chambers 14; needs to be completely re-done
I had this one on last year's to-do-list and still want to give it a shot, but it might be that I lack the necessary time

Here's what needs to be done regarding interiors, or where I need further information (interiors 'Silgrad Tower' and 'Glaris Wine Cellar ... and what's up with Solea Cadusius).

I took the liberty to grant me the population of my own interiors Wink and gave the three parts of the Refugee Hostal to Grand Inquisitor, since he made them.

Ancient Gate
I did a rework of the Ancient Gate in September last year, the last project I worked on I think. I sent it to Deus. I suspect it's gone forever now, though. Pity.

However Ben Vagara also did a rework of it prior to me, but I think it fell off the board during the blackout last summer. I spoke to him about it last year... the details of our conversation has slipped my mind, unfortunately... but it's possible he still has that rework in his possession? I recall the rework he did was really good. It's quite possible his rework is what is already in the esp. Perhaps he can clear it up.

G'Aedra
I think these interiors are part of G'Aedra.
Flooded Caves
Natural Cavern
Sunken Caves

I spoke to TBK last year and we agreed that I would clean out everything regarding G'Aedra from the .esp and export it to a separate plugin for him to work on. Took quite some time to separate the two. Aren't they gone in the latest internal release? Here 's the exported stuff by the way.

I think parts of G'Aedra is very nice, but on general, that his area was huge, often repetetive, empty and in some cases defective (corridors ending in gaping holes etc) was one of the reason as to why I wanted to remove it from our plugin. The other was that I read up on G'Aedra and a lot of the work TBK had to do seemed to revolve around doubling bugs because his project was continally being added and updated to the main esp. Perhaps that's why his enthusiasm for it vained? Just a theory.

Anyway -- the latest information I have is that TBK was going to work on it as a separate plugin. I recall a thread where he spoke of retexturing interiors for G'Aedra (as he had used the Velothi tile set, tho G'Aedra was supposed to pre-date the Dunmer civilisation).

Zarkis used it for technical reasons to make his scripts work, or so Deus told me. I don't know the technical details around that, but I think it's needed even if it's unused in the game world.

Concerning G'Aedra:

I just talked to TBK and made him aware of this discussion. He asked me to tell you that he will appriciate any help he can get on that topic.
He is a little busy at the moment (he muttered something about having to conquer a galaxy) so that he can not answer at once, but he will post as soon as he is able to.

Good to hear that the Knight is still alive and kicking.

And even though I understand that the urge to conquer unknown worlds boils in the blood of a warrior, tell him to get his armoured butt over to The Raven, so we can have a tankard or two and talk about the good old times and the good new times to come :cheers:

The Televani Pod and tomb was my claim, but I was unable to complete it and send it of to Deus. I would like to put it back on the market as I havent the time at the moment.

I'll try to get to work on the Refugee Hostal as soon as possible. I was in the process of redoing the Hostal anyway. I will keep you updated.
