Yeah, that was cool alright
I always listen to Bob Marley's music when i'm on vacation, it's the perfect music for that sort of thing, i also like Eek-A-Mouse.

I like Evanescence because of the passion Amy Lee has when she sings. I don't know if this proves that she/they mean what they do, but I know that Amy does a damn good job at it Tongue

But I also gotta love the classics, the Stones, Zeppelin, and so on.
Lol what?

He's by no means a good singer, but the most passionate singer I have ever encountered is Roger Waters.

He sings about things so close to his core, he only ever writes about what he knows and has experienced, and he doesn't limit a grand feeling to a single song, he explores it with a full album. Without exception. and the really big ones, the death of his father, his hatred of war, detatchment, he revisits a lot.

The singing all the way through The Final Cut... Dear Jesus.

Listen to the lyrics and the way he sings them in The Post War Dream or (less so) The Final Cut, or Gunner's Dream.

And yes, that actor is the teacher from The Wall, and this is his story.

Edit: Oh! And how could I forget Stevie Ray or The Dead!

Condition grounded, but determined to try

I like a lot of different and often unrelated genres and artists, though I mainly listen to DnB (also Jungle and Breakbeat), Reggae, and Nu Jazz.

DnB: Pendulum, DJ Zinc, DJ Clipz, Photek, Andy C, Grooverider, Roni Size, Goldie, etc.

Reggae: Bob Marley, Manu Chao, Eek-a-mouse, Lee "Scratch" Perry, etc.

Nu Jazz: 4hero, Humanworkshop, etc.

Electronica: The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Kraftwerk, Fatboy Slim, Depeche Mode, etc.

Power/Symphonic/Folk/Viking/Gothic Metal: Therion, Haggard, Kamelot, Labyrinth, Korpiklaani, Gåte, Dargaard, etc.

World/Celtic: Loreena McKennitt, Orthodox Celts, etc.

There is more, but I think this will do. Tongue
