@Razorwing:
Thanks for the hints. I've only uploaded all textures I've used to build the final texture. Smile

@Axen:

So, that texture would work for a fence, but not a wall...

I'd like to ask if someone could create better textures based on the two I've attached, which are currently used in the mod. The ones we use now are too closely based on the TES3 originals for comfort, and too small to look very good.

I think 128x32 for the new textures would be good, since they're not used on very large surfaces, but large enough for the current 64x16 to look bad.

The textures are intended to look like ornate, rusty metal strips, though not ornate in the sense that they're exquisite. They would usually be used on practical objects, like low-class furniture for instance, rather than on decorative ones. TIA.

My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image into a clickeable thumbnail whenever I see it.

Hmm, after playing morrowind again i noticed a difference here. Could we possibly get brighter textures? (1=OB, 2=MW)

And the Oblivion door looks bad. Can we get a new texture here closer to MW, and possibly one with a hinge? (3=OB, 4=MW)
Lol what?

I'm remodelling the ampoule pod and draggle tail, and ran into difficulties with the stem texture. I could approximate its look (well... *cough*) by modifying a bamboo texture but as you can see it doesn't have the vertical striations that define the original texture. Would someone be able to create a more suiting texture for it? 128x32 would be good I think.

Left screenshot shows my wip and one of the original plants, right screenshot shows the original texture (zoomed).
