Pictures for Temple walls
Ladies and gentlemen, from the depths of the Literature Forum boards, I present to you a long-lost treasure drawn by KuKulza that would look fantastic if it was transferred to a texture and put in one of our Velothi temples. In the classic style of the pictures of the Tribunal saints from Morrowind, it depicts everyone's favourite Dunmer, St. Jiub, killing the crap out of one of the much-hated cliff racers:

Pure undiluted awesomeness.

Edit:
I have also found one of Saint Nerevar in the same style:

Nice! :goodjob:

Though I think the moon and star in the Nerevar picture could use some work.

work... where? its looks totally fine. its the essence of being rough and old.
Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes
I see my future in an instant
And there it goes
I think I've found my best friend

It's just that the rest of it, to me, looks very accurate and creates a well-defined character whereas the moon and star look almost like an afterthought.

I personally think the moon and star should be like the ones used in the icon for the morrowind shortcut/.exe file. I think it would put more emphasis on the symbolism to have them immediately recognisable.

This is just my opinion, of course. Wink

Do what you like with it, guys. Vvardenfell is on the backburner for the forseeable future, so I can't see anyone objecting to inclusion of a version of this in ST, even if it is modified in some way. Smile

Nice Smile

Not sure what one could do with them though. It would be cool to somehow transfer it to a Velothi fresco model, but I imagine that would require a lot of Photoshopping. I attached images of the fresco textures from Morrowind if anyone wants to see them quickly.

My pet peeve: huge images in img code. I reserve the right to make any such image into a clickeable thumbnail whenever I see it.

Good Stuff

I agree with Razorwing I think they would look nice on the Fresco's or another option is as a tapestry I did a set of tapestries for Morrowind with the Dunmer Saints

Seeing as these would be newly-painted in the last few years they wouldn't have to be the same texture as the others. It could be much whiter if necessary (the others having become brown due to constant smoke from all those temple candles over the years). Big Grin

Those tapestries look great by the way!
