Quokimbo's Models
I am looking for some art to model. I really would like some dungeon clutter, Maybe some ideas for walls or rooms you might have? I am going to retry a dungeon I started earlier. You can see some of my models in the link in my siggeh, or you can go to this thread.

Quokimbo's Models

That is some work I have done. I browsed but did not find very much. Like I said I want to do a dungeon but need some more ideas. I cannot think all of this up on my own.

Thanks to anyone who helps me out, or points me in the direction I need to go! Smile

Laters!

I think this is my first post on the Big forum! Smile

Hi Quokimbo, and welcome to Silgrad Tower!

Have you modelled tilesets before? Some communities call them prefabs, i.e. building blocks that can be snapped together seamlessly to form a large level that's highly customizeable by modders using it. We mostly use tilesets for our interiors, and there's a few of them left to be done.

The foremost that comes to mind that no-one is working on is the daedric tileset, which you might remember from Morrowind's daedric ruins. If you haven't played Morrowind then I can mention that the tileset is quite different from anything found in Oblivion, in my opinion different in a better way because it has all these weird angles going for it that can be frightingly disorientating when playing. Another tileset that isn't in active development is the imperial castle set; though we have semifinished exteriors, we don't have any interior models. Another dungeon-related job is that of recreating Sixth House paraphernalia. Sixth House worshippers were usually holed up in normal caves, but they had decorated the caves with interesting and evil-looking stuff (troths with body parts, spears, candles, altars, stuff like that).

There's several other open modelling jobs but those were the ones related to dungeons I could think of.

By the way if you want to see all of them we've gathered the open jobs in the pinned thread.

I did this cup today. I figure it would be pretty small in game but either way here it is. 424 Tri's and a 512x512 texture map.

See the fading leather? what about the stain around the brim? What do you think. Going to work on a table to set this on.

Can someone change this to Quokimbo's Models? Please? I would appreciate it! Smile

Cool tankard!

Perhaps you can start with making Daedric ruins exterior set pieces like daedric bricksn, pillars, stairs,...

The general 'open moddelling jobs' thread can be found here: Open jobs for modellers . 'Daedric Ruins' are the first things on the list and from what I hear they are a very high prestige job because apparently the Daedric ruins from MW were really cool. I don't see much in the way of concept art though. However, whilst I don't want to hijack you for other work completely, we are nonetheless in need of Dunmer ships. The 'Dunmer ships' are the second item on the list and, if you click the link, you will find concept art.

I'd like to see this done personally because I'd like to see the Steadhelm docks area developed. We're trying to 'flesh out' Steadhelm at the moment. It's your choice, though.
