Oh my god. If I'm correct it will be 25*20 cell like city. I mean that's 500 cells for now.

Of course the city walls don't follow the rectangular shape.
It includes also a strip of land directly surrounding the city.

For comparison.

If you draw a rectangular around Soluthis (including a strip of land surrounding the city) you'll have around 380 cells.

Nobody has answered this yet, but how many cells does the entire IC have?

the exterior IC takes up somewhat less then 36 cells (square around the circular city, so not an acurate measurment). each poke of the city takes up around 3 cells (4 if you round it to a square), with the center taking up 4 cells (again, squre).

technicaly, the imperial city IS the biggest city in Tamriel. however, due to the scaling down of oblivion and scaling up of this mod, thats no longer the case.

My question would be: How does the framerate hold up in such a large city?

If you're making it closed, you still have to do the surrounding LODs. At least the taller buildings, but even if they're low poly, it's still something to consider.

If the city is open, then holy $***. I'd like to know how you'll pull it off to retain fps with NPCs, clutter and scripts running at the same time.

After at thorough discussion with Razorwing (late November) I decided to move Silgrad city to a number of child worldspaces. This will improve the FPS for the low (medium) end users.

The city will be resized (same number of interiors, the surface area will be smaller).
