the problem may not be with the skeleton but with the animations themselves. horses and camels walk very differently, so having a camel walking like a horse will naturally look strange.

that would be the perfect solution, yes. imo it works fine on the skeleton it already had (deer?) though.

feeling up to trying to sculpt a new skeleton? Challenging, but doable, and it would help for more complex creatures

do all the anims look weird? if its just running anims etc. that look odd you could try just redoing those animations.

That sounds quiet easy. Sceluk, you should try to make a new running anim, cause' the other animations are good.
