The Bell of Alkosh?

Well, that's why i came here in fact. It may sound childish, but i'd be happy to provide some ideas for EC. I may be a poor modder, but some editors here think i'm a fine writer. And being one of the only TES fans in my city...heck with it. When i translate the concept of our "Team" (unfortunately they don't speak english), you'll be the first to see it. We're really trying to make something NEW without breaking the true state of things in TES. And i believe it's going great.

So...guess i'd better continue working on the Chosen thing as well as our global concept...

By the way...where do i find information about the three battle orders in Elsweyr? Read about them somewhere but can't figure out where...

The new TIL link is pinned at the top of the Lit Dev page - and TIL has a good search function.

But here it is again: The Imperial Library

Aye...as easy as that...then i'll just think aloud, cause i'm really new to modding, especially for TES IV.

Is it hard to make a cinematic fight of NPC's? If it is...let's say the player, traveling through Elsweyr, finds a dead khajiit, wearing an armor never to be seen on anyone else but the same faction (the VERY templars of Alkosh). Say he died cause of an accident (tree fell?). The player finds any other khajiit (or if he is one, he immediately gets the quest) about it. Let's say the body also had somekind of a note...written in riddles. There we get a quest to find the Chosen of Alkosh and bring him to the Temple, where the player gets some artifact and the title of (Templar of Alkosh). The quest itself may have two phases - finding and escorting. Based on the speciality of the player, he storms his way through, or does what he can. Somewhere in the end, there might be a desperate situation, where the Chosen will get assistance from Alkosh DIRECTLY...

Questions I have about this quest, one to help it make sense, and two, to help elaborate on the background and make it engaging.

1: Why is the note in riddles, who is it from, who is it for?

2: Templars of Alkosh, who are they, what do they do, why are they in the woods.

3: Why did he fall out of a tree?

4: Why is the chosen one needed at the temple, and why isn't he there of his own will?

1. The note is made from clues Alkosh gives to the Templars. Every Templar has a copy to find the Chosen one. The way those clues are given may vary for now...let's say it's like the Delphian Oracle did. The Temple Keeper eats Moon Sugar to death and starts yelling stuff... Anyway...the Templars know when it's time to get clues from the Bell of Alkosh in the Temple.

2. The Templars are just knights and monks from the Temple of Alkosh. The followers of the Big Cat... One of their duties is finding the Chosen one, assisting and serving him once he gets the lore in the Temple.

3. He didn't fall. It's just that i need more practice of English. The tree fell on him. Or rocks...The Templar is dead by an accident BECAUSE no khajiit may hurt a Templar. They are known and respected by all khajiit.

4. The Chosen of Alkosh doesn't know he is The Chosen Smile
When he's brought to the Temple (Which is one of the main and oldest temples of Alkosh-Akatosh in Tamriel) he gets "the info". The Chosen is usually a warrior, but when Elsweyr needs a charismatic character in politics, or a brilliant strategist, or a master assassin/thief...the Chosen is always a key to solve problems of his people.

Note: In history, the khajiit don't usually refer to the Chosen. They just write the name and "the great warrior" etc.
