RE: Vintra's meshes
OK - good idea, Vintra. I've taken that latest file, thanks.

One thing, though: can you group by subject not by date, because I don't want to be re-downloading the same stuff unless there's a big overhaul.

The wall is nearly finished, hope you like it.

EDIT:

The wall is now finished, just i have to remove the shiny effect from the textures.

Don't know how the design fits with TOYB's vision - as objects they look nice.

I'd prefer one wall unit to flow into the next: they look too much like separate units. I don't like the shininess: this is supposed to look like packed earth. I think you'll find it very hard to get a "slight" sheen on it that looks right: I'd stick to dxt1 normal maps for this sort of thing.

I think you should probably post screenshots in the appropriate art thread so we can keep concept stuff together. Then this thread can be for your actual mesh uploads.

Well, yes - that does solve the problem with the joins! Much better.
Pic 4 still looks too shiny, and there's an odd highlight between the wall and the pillar on the left. I think Shewter had a problem like that once but don't know if he ever figured it out.

I'll remove the shiny stuff, and it will look like the last picture (hopefully)...
