One of these days I'll try some armor, but I think its beyond my capabilities right now

It's fun. You should try something simple first like a helmet that only needs to be rigged to the one head bone. That way you dont have to worry about the neck or anything else as far as weighting goes.

Oh...and Big Lebowski rocks!


Edit: Just an update. The gauntlets are now working for both male and female characters. There is a very minor issue with them when in first person and unarmed. Tried fixing it, but when I fix the rig for that pose the pose with a weapon armed looks way worse...so I figure its not too big a deal since more people play with weapons then unarmed.

Looks great, though I am curious, what will the foot portion look like when its all said and done?

I got the impression from the concept that the foot covering was made of leather. So I was thinking that I could paint a seam around the sole area with some stitches thru the leather and the sole part would be a different, rougher material more suited to be the sole of a shoe. Sound good?
