Quentin alive and well
Quentin is alive and well, thank God Big Grin

I got in touch with Reena McGuire, who was one of the more influencial members in the old team as well as being (and continuing to be) a close personal friend of Quentin Fortune in real life. She informed me that he had simply moved to a new flat and hadn't hooked up phone or internet access to it yet, and that apart from a demanding work situation he's quite alright.

Phew! Am I glad to hear that. I hope we hear from the old guy soon

He's alive. He's online every now and then, and posts occasionally sometimes in the internal boards or in the Tavern or whatnot. He's got a really hectic job, and also pays for the site.

I believe I saw him online early morning two days ago.

Yup, Valderon's never been missing in that sense. He comes by now and then, though usually it takes a couple months inbetween visits.

Hello, my fellow Silgradians ... and hello, old friends.

First and foremost I'd like to apologize for simply vanishing into the mists. Those who know me a bit longer know that I tend to recluse myself in times of hardship, not only on the internet, but in real life as well. This shan't be an excuse just an explanation.

I'm deeply touched to see that people care so much of my well-being and I'm equally ashamed that I left you in a state of indifference for so long ... but at least reports of my death are definitely over-exaggerated, although there have been times during the last six months that made me either feel like I'm dead or let me wish I were.

So what happened that kept me away from this place? Lots. Trying to make it short: my new managers decided that I'd make a career whether I want it or not; I've been introduced to lots of new working fields with lots of new tasks and even more responsibilities; I - absolutely accidentally - stumbled over a new flat whih I rented immediately; thus I became - next to my work - extremely occupied with decorating, renovating, painting, fixing, moving ... everything that needs to be done to make the new one my new lair - and to make the old one inhabitable again; Wink during this processI completely ruined the nerves in my elbows, but still didn't find to see a doctor so far; and last but not least I underwent an ... interesting emotional process, which Iwon't discuss right here right now. Big Grin Nothing to worry about though, just the usual boy-meets-girl-story, but in a very Quentinesque variation

To make matters a bit worse I'm still without phone or internet connection so right now I'm in a little internet cafe with such a lousy connection, I'm thinking of sending this via snail mail.

My time - for now - runs out, but you'll see me again, I promise. When? I can't say for sure. Soon.

I'm more than happy to see that Silgrad is still such a thriving city and three cheers to all of you.

And one last thing: my deepest and most sincere apologies together with my deepest and most heart-felt gratitude to my fellow core members in general and especially to Razorwing. I'm sorry, dude, for what for me feels like letting you down - and I'm grateful for your friendship and your persistence. :hugall:

Greetings

Quentin

P.S.: and since this is the fourth anniversary of the day when I first passed the Gates of Silgrad I'd like to drag you all into the Raven for a big party.
