raggidman, glances around surreptitiously and proceeds to remove several inches of beard and mustache that have found their way into his beer glass and drains them into the parched.

One enormous belch later he gives a friendly wave to the barmaid, and when she comes over orders: "the same again all round dear, and give me a straw this time, before the beard gets drunk again - you have no idea just what a drunken beard can get up to" as he dries the errant hairy bits with several napkins.

As the barmaid retreats from the table, the beard, seeing it's chance, jumps out of raggidman's hand and gives her posterior a damp slap.

She rounds on him, and he holds up his hands, protesting his innocence - she raises a dubious eyebrow, but retreats immediately when the beard, stimulated by the exchange rears up in excitement.

raggidman hrugs: appologetically - "that's why I need the straw."

Good to hear the big construction set in the sky hasn't called you yet

I'm looking forward to when you can hook up internet access to your new flat so we can see you around here more often, in any capacity. As I'm sure you've seen, The Raven has gained a lot of popularity over the last few months and could certainly benefit from your thoughts if you're so inclined. Naturally there's a thousand things to do with the mod too, but... no pressure =)
