Hi fwp_coder, nice to another Swede here! I've been the only one for ages. We had a guy called Elathia here, he came from Stockholm I think, but he's barely been here since Oblivion came out.

When you say grafitti I was reminded of an idea I had long ago. The city I'm working on, Reich Parkeep/Soluthis, is divided into an Imperial and a Redoran district, and there's some strife between them since the Imperials are seen as intruders. So I thought it could be a fun idea if the player saw Redoran grafitti here and there directed towards the Imperials Big Grin Because grafitti is something people have been doing for ages I mean, you saw it a lot in the Roman empire for instance. From a technical viewpoint I thought it could be a planar 3d-modell with a transparant texture on, which you could place against a wall or similar. Then you could connect a simple script to it so it only showed up on a specific date, so that the impression is the Imperials wash it away after awhile. With enough of them placed around the city the impression would be that grafitti is painted here and there. Would you be interested in painting one or more of those textures? If not then that's ok.

Otherwise we have a lot of open jobs both regarding models, textures and quests. But quests are what we would need help with the most, because there aren't a lot for the player to do. We have our own Velothi interior tileset for instance (created by gundalf) which you can use to mod tombs and similar. Perhaps you could mod a quest that sent the player to a tomb you modded to complete a mission there? Perhaps killing a necromancer, they have a given interest in taking control over already undead who guards Dunmer tombs. You are of course more than welcome to combine the quest with modelling, and I would be happy to help with answering questions and giving tips if you want.

We have a system of modder abbreviations in the Silgrad Tower-team. It basically means you start every ID with [St] followed by two alphanumeric characters specific to you. I'm StRw for instance. It helps tremendously with keeping order in the lists as well as separating who's done what. I put you up as "FC", but I can change it if you like.

I've been here for awhile so I thought I would introduce my self. I'm fourteen, and live an hour South of Chicago in Mokena. I just started modding before joining the project, and found out I'm pretty good at it. I can also do architectural textures, maybe a few others. Just learning how to model, stuck at UV wrapping. And.... thats about it.

Hi Tocak/Dairon, welcome back!

I remember you very well. I've often thought with sadness how your awesome Guar model perished Sad

I managed to optimize the Gold Kanet flower you modelled, and we did use it for several months but ultimately even the optimized model had to be remade. The optimized version of your Gold Kanet model is still in the mod, at meshes\ST\Flora\FloraTesselaKanetUNI.nif, but it doesn't have a clear use at the moment. But with a bit of tweaking to the textures it could absolutely become a unique plant for instance. It's hi-poly in a way that precludes it from being planted twenty times in an exterior cell, but not so hi-poly that it couldn't be made to work at the end of a dungeon haul or similar. So, with your permission I would very much like to keep it in the mod.

Are you able to model creatures for Oblivion? I mean I know you can animate extremely well, but getting animation into the game is a chapter by itself if I understand correctly. If so I would be very grateful if you would consider modelling a kwama worker Smile The reason I would consider them a priority is partly becaue we have guars, the lovable ambassadors of Morrowind, and partly because with kwama workers we would have the backbone for modding kwama egg mines, which are of course exceedingly common in Morrowind.

If you would like I can either:
- Give your Dairon account a new password
- Change the email adress in your Dairon account, so a password-reset email can be sent to you
- Merge your Dairon account to your Tocak account, which makes it seem the old posts was made with your new username

I think I can do better than images Smile

First, please download Nifskope if you don't already have it. Second, please download this archive, which contains the assets the creature uses in TES3. Then if you open the nif in the archive in NifSkope you should be able to see it both threedimensionally as well as animated. If you can't get it to work I'd be happy to take pictures, but it struck me as being more helpful.
