horodnicdragos Think I have beaten your record, in a survival situation once I went for 3 months with an average of one and a half hours sleep every 24. I discovered that at a certain point, as I was waking up I started to dream intensely that I was waking up, and what I would do when I did, probably because my sub-c was trying to tell me I needed more sleep. I don't recommend such if you have a choice...
Must say that I am rooting for Zhakarov, in fact I shall be starting up a 'Keep Zhakarov Free' campaign!

Nerbod: Thanks. I can nearly blast the windows out whilst playing the 1812 Overture... these things are amazing! See the little gray speakers below the black ones on the left? Those are Zakharov's speakers, and the speakers I used before I bought my new ones.

I forgot to mention, there is a crummy Pentium laptop on top of the left monitor. Yeah, a Pentium. Not a Pentium II, or III, a PENTIUM ONE. With MMX! It's my abuse computer. :-D
Brief description of some of the stuff on the wall:
The motherboard that is obscured by my case is an old 386 IBM motherboard, the meter-long graphics card to the left of it is and old... like, RAGE or something. A friend donated it to my collection. :-D
I have an Intel Celeron, an AMD-K6 1, and an AMD 3000 (32 bit) that a friend of mine fried (the burn marks are visible on the other side of it) right above that. The only thing on that wall that probably doesn't work any more is the AMD 3000 that my friend cooked. ...and the 3' floppy disk. :-D
By far the oldest thing I have there is a 1960's era Automatic Calculator. It has a stylus, a reset switch, and can add and subtract. Allegedly. It can also apparently multiply, but I'm not clever enough to figure it out. It's the gold thing almost directly above my center speaker on top of my right monitor.
The Tetris sign is an authentic Tetris sign, from an authentic Tetris machine. I could have gotten a Galaga sign too, but for some stupid reason I decided against it. It was free too, so I don't know what the heck I was thinking. I do however, have the CPU from the Tetris machine and what looks like a dual-motherboard for the Galaga machine.
They keyboard is there too, but I'm not good enough to make music for Silgrad Tower yet. I'm still learning my music program (Propellerhead's Reason... got a sweet deal on that, and I love it.
)I'm proud of my room. I like the way it's set up, I like how clean (most of) it is, and I like my decor. I did have a ton of video game boxes up on the shelf you can see (You can see the G Man from Half Life up there now), but they kept on falling over and I didn't want to nail them in to place. Any ideas would be great.

This is a wall of posters. You can see I have the big maps of both of Morrowind's expansions, the original map, and the map of Cyrodiil there, as well as a map for Alpha Centauri, an Age of Empires II tech list, and an Age of Empires I tech list. :-D

Hello...my real name is Misty. I'm currently in college for a degree part time in Game Art and Design from the Art Institute Online (division of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh). Living in Maryland, but an Washington native - missing my evergreens and rain here too. Married, but the only children I have have fur and feathers (two cockatiels and a canine princess, Akachan.)
I'm excited to actually be able to help out for this project - I'm good at proofreading, writing, and decent artist. I am also a fan of Celtic and Norse myths and culture, so when I heard about this, I naturally have to poke my nose in here.
So I guess this is where I say, where you want me? :guar:

Anywho, my name is Ryan Schwartz, born and raised in Minnesota. I'm coming up on my 29th year of existence (July). I'm married and have been that way happily for coming up on 7 years now. Been together with the missus for 11 1/2 years. Went to school for game design at a really expensive private college and am now spending my days working my rear off in a job not even remotely related to the game industry to pay off those very loans. Planning on going back to school to get a Computer Science degree come this spring.
Other than that?

If I ever get around to moving to America, Minnesota would be the place I think. I hear in some places in your state folks even speak Swedish and celebrate Swedish traditions, so that'd be fun. Might even get a job as a language teacher, who knows.

I'm familiar with the CS, and have made a few mods;
1: An unreleased morrowind mod for personal use, which combined Silgrad Tower, Blacklight and Siege of Firemoth, plus added underwater cells between the mainland and the island, plus fixed all the seams, plus did proper border regions, and removed the invisible walls on the west coast.

Having said that, have you looked at our associated Skyrim project - based on the Nords? Galrina (co-project head) is also a Celtic/Nordic buff, and crying out for specialists in her and her partner's area of expertise!

Yep, northern Minnesota (especially) was settled by Scandanavians for the most part (some Germans too). I was born in the town of Wadena and lived in Sebeka for the first 3 years of my life (would have been born in Sebeka, but they don't have a hospital :lol: ) That entire town is loaded with Finns. A lot of them still speak Finnish. I'm actually half Finnish myself (Funny how the US is filled with a bunch of "muts"). I have several friends who fall under the Norweigan and Swedish nationalities as well.
It's a nice state, but the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) are like every other major city in the US...a melting pot of nationalities.
