Weather & the Region Editor - sandor - 08-17-2013

General info.

If you assign a climate your worldspace (WS), the weather works as intended (whole WS).

If you're planning to add regional weather keep in mind that the region weather works fines including the override, as long as you keep it simple e.g. 2-3 weather types. If you use a complexer setting the RE doesn't work as intended (chance it occurs).

You could use Weather - All Natural' by wrinklyninja is a very nice weather mod.

Weather transition between regions (a test).

Add rain 100% override, 100% chance to one region and clear weather 100% override, 100% chance to the other region. Start walking in the rainy region towards the sunny area, the game automatically switches at the border to overcast. After a few hours or if you wait the weather changes to clear.

The other way around it remains clear in the rainy region and starts to rain after a few hours or a wait (no overcast).
