Our offer
Alright, Ku, knowing his lack of involvement, wasn't too keen on getting this started up right away, let's see how you feel.

Elsweyr has a wonderful little island on it's heightmap, topal island.

The plan since it's first discussion was to use it as a joint trailer for BM and Elsweyr, we could use the showcase for our models, and you guys could use it for the same, since you have enough models for, say, a village, but not a city.

So, would you like to negotiate terms for how we're going to coordinate this, if at alll?

I know KuKu wasn't very keen on doing this, but I think its a great idea to get both our mods out there.

I say we come up with blueprints of what each team is doing, and boudries of where each village is going to be.
I think it should be kinda like SI in the fact that there were two different faces of Sheo, but this would show two faces of BM, and Eleswyr.

Maybe a port town, with a small marsh in the middle, and a couple villages in the rest of the island.

Though I think the port city should reflect both cultures, and show that bot get along fairly well. I always saw Khajiit, and Argos having a really close bond, unlike the humans, and aldmeri.

There is a problem though...I have no modellers, and llamarager is MIA. I might need access to a modeller from Eleswyr if we are to make this work. Or I can see If I can track KuKu down to get the existing resources.

Anyways, yes I'd like to negotiate terms.

Send Ku an email, he'll get you the resources.

Shewter's pretty busy himself on our tileset's interiors.

I believe the idea before was to have a khajiit and an argonian village, inhabited with the descendants of slaves brought in to build the imperial navy base on the island. I think the races would have develope traditions regarding eachother and relations, but maybe not be as close as you have proposed.

Cool, I'll email him. :goodjob:

I just meant thats how I saw them in Morrowind. It would be cool to have a crude port, like Gnaar Mok in MW. Just to habitat the isle more.
I'm designing a custom land texture, some rocks, maybe trees, and re-textureing the ayleid ruins to look mossy and olden. Those could help out. =)

I doubt there'd be an ayleid presence, perhaps mossy form of the ruins from SI.

Hell... I should make some sand stone walls from that.

not really.

In additional to the reptilian Argonians, who are today Black Marsh's most visible denizen, there were once tribes of men - Kothringi, Orma, Yespest, Horwalli - and tribes of mer - the Barsaebic Ayleids and the Cantemiric Velothi
still, I agree with you on SI stuff.

yeah, by the way, the quote color in this forum really sucks.

Topal island is not BM.

Topal island is in the middle of the topal sea.
