Question 2 of 10 146 About the Dreugh

I never listened, I will the next time Im in game !!!

As far as names go maybe, based on this sound you say they make the names can be dirivative of standard Altmer names only with a "dkroooh" kinda sound, understandable easily by members of their race but extremely difficult to pronounce for others

May our little question answer session could answer some of these things and help get some back ground for you mod?

Well, I havn't read any lore on them, but so far I've only seen 2.

Morrowinds Sea Dreugh (Small with octopus legs and crab hands)

Oblivions Land Dreugh (Gigantic, with Crab legs and crab hands)

Funnily enough, the land Dreugh can't swim...

There may of been more in TES1 and TES2, but i never got far in those 2 games.

What does it matter anyway? They're one of the lowest life-froms on Nirn, they're crab-people.

Next logical step in thier Evolution, would be Sky Dreugh, Flying Crab People Tongue

As far as I can tell, they can't speak at all. Maybe they once did, but have since lost the ability, Look at the Land Dreugh in TES4, they're not much more than a crab with a torso and head, They don't use weapons, and can't use magic, and are slow and stupid.

Whatever they once were, is long gone, they are now no more intelligent than a lobster.

Geeze, give the people one Talking Mudcrab, and everyone thinks all crustaceans can talk... Tongue

Hey I think we were actually on question 5 so your out of order Smile

I do not know that answer to that either maybe KK does for sure

But as far as them being the lowest life form I can't agree with that
theirs too much or not enough to say one way or another, in TES3 (in game),which is all I can base my knowledge on, they seemed to be down played from what the ES Literature portrays them as being

ADCK has got it completely wrong about Dreugh being one of the lowest life forms. They are sentient, and have been the nemesis of many races (or at least the Dunmer and the Ayleids). Well, the Land Dreugh isn't sentient, as stated by a researcher's journal in TES4.

Heck, they seem to be a cross breed of something, so really Land Dreugh are only about half-Dreugh and half Crab.
