Scc0369 [Finished]

[blockquote]
District: Riverside.
Cell name: SilgradCity0369.
Claim Difficulty: Medium.
NPC's: 6 or more (including 4 dead NPC's).
Race: Dunmer, Hlaalu.
Class: Poor-middle.
General info: Check -=this link=-.[/blockquote]

Status: Finished by Hegemege / Quest idea by Trankintor.

You'll find the exterior and interior building (screenshot) in the cell SilgradCity0369. Use the Silgrad_Tower.esm v2.993 or a higher version.

The NPC('s) must have (full) dialogue and AI, don't forget the pathgrid.
Full AI: Eat, sleep, one drink and/or read package.

I'll set the rotation for the Northmarker and connect the interior to the exterior.

Add a few windows to the interior and to the exterior building as well (matching with the interior).

For reasons of playtesting it's often handy to add a X marker (heading).
When you use the console (~), type coc "XX", replace the "XX" with your cell name.

Background.

The Riverside morgue, a nice location for a quest.

Poor-middle: Mostly poor furniture with some redware objects.
You can't use rich objects.

Use the existing cell (SilgradCity0369) and don't delete the exterior building.

I would like to claim this, if I can get help with making the quest...

I have a suggestion for the quest, nothing fancy really...
You walk in there and talk to one of the care takers, he tells you that it looks like a body have gone missing, a new one that they got in that day before. They don't think that someone has taken the body, but that it has walked away on it's own, in some way.
He asks if you could go out in the city and look for the body, he tells you that it was a middle aged Dunmer male, and he had a totaly black mohawk haircut, so wouldn't be too hard to find.
As you walk out the door again, you see him walking around in the street.
You walk up to him and asks him what he is doing, he tells you that he didn't remember why he woke up in the morgue but that he might have been found on a bench or something sleeping, but that he has some kind of illness that makes it so that he looks dead.
He finish with, "I'm fine, have never fealt better in my life." Then the dialouge is ended and you hear an ugh sond, like when someone dies suddenly, and he drops down dead. you run back to the morgue and tell the care taker what happend, and you both go out there, he checks the body quickly and says that it looks that he got an heartattack, and that he is dead for sure this time.
And for you trubble he gives you 50 gold.

With this in mind, there will be 5 NPC's from the start and at the end of the quest there will be all 6.

Might that be an easy enough quest to do for someone that have never done any before?

Yes, I like the idea.

May I remind you of the "Missing child" quest, it would be a good start to learn the art of quest making.

Oh, I do remember, but it was abit to hard to be the first try.
And I have tried to different tutorias, about 3 of them, and I can't seem to get any of them right, working that is...
Doing exactly as it says but still won't work, it is something wierd with me and making quests...

It's a fairly simple process once you get the hang of it. What happens in-game?

What happens in-game is that the quests I have tried is all wierd, like that by agreing to do something you are going to get a key, and it says the right answer but no key. And if you don't want to do it, you get the key...Stuff like that. Extreamly anoying even if I have followed everything with the same conditions and all...

That sounds like you gave the result script to the wrong INFO. At least if that was an example from your own experience.

So this is now open claim??

I'll take it but I'm not sure about how to make NPCs dead when the mod is loaded. "Kill"-function?

I'm quite good making quests so thats not a problem. Just how to make the NPCs dead and how to get that NPC killed after dialogue. Result script "kill"?

TIA

Have fun. Smile

Set the health to 0 and the NPC will be dead.
You could use the kill function.

I found a ForceActorValue function

IS it better than kill?? (after kill there may be still health)
