Copyright is a serious matter for us, especially if the copyright holder is a gargantuan game company with a battery of lawyers who could shut us down at the snap of a finger. Okay, this is the point.
It is too similar to the model/character/whatever off of WoW, and we are not going to use anything that closely resembles the original file that much. We will not take that chance. Every modeller needs to understand that. These are our rules, some of the few rules we have, and we will stand by them. We will not risk this mod to anything that we can easily avoid such as copyright infringements. Whitefox, if you did this model as you claim, then you did a great job, but it looks too similar to the WoW model for our comfort. If you were able to change it to make it YOUR model and not a take off of another, then it would be great. Judging from this model and it's animations, you are very capable of doing so. |
