Here is the pattern i'm going to go with -
On On Off On Off Off | On Off On Off Off On | Off On Off Off On On | and then finally, the player must press On Off Off On On Off to open the door. I'm currently working on the room, and the script controlling the lights. Also, i took the liberty of moving this to the claims board, just because we have a claims board, which we may as well use, and it reduces clutter on the main board. I'll have to figure out what the review process for Dumac Claims is going to be. Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala

Hey, i've run into a bit of a problem with the scripting - getting a light to enable from an activator. I won't pretend to be especially good at scripting, so does anybody have a good way to do that?
What i need to do exactly is thus: I need the player to press an activator that activator, in turn, has to enable a light which was previously disabled. The other problem is that i have 6 activators and 6 lights, and each activator needs to enable a specific light, but i don't want to use 6 different scripts, though i can if need-be. any ideas on how to do this? Wish I could help but my scripting ability is low to none
One thing I think is that the script could be on the door and not on the lights, if the door detects the correct sequence (regardless of which order the player moved them) then it will open (door) maybe I did help Enjoy Bob

Yeah, there's going to be a script running on the door, but the problem is just how to get the lights to turn on.
I could make a script so that you press the buttons in the correct order and open the door, but there would be no way to know which buttons you'd pressed. for some reason, it's actually really hard to enable something Leader of the Morag Tong Hail Mephala
