[WIP] Ruby Armor Set
Figured as this is going past concept art that I should make a new thread. This way I can clutter this thread up with WIP screenies Smile

Here's the shield with its fixed textures and scaled down a bit.

And some WIP shots of the helmet.

More to come as I work on it.

The helm is really shaping up to be great

Hmm, you know, what slot is it going to use? I don't think it would look right if the hair slot was used, because it will look sort of strange if your hair just disappears...

the sides of the helm (the cheek coverings, what ever) are way to thin. they curently look like cloth or paper, as oposed to ruby. my .2 cents.

Yea that lower part of the helm is far from finished...trust me it won't be that thin when I'm done. It just looks that way because of how I model. I model poly by poly so at that stage it just looks like a bunch of strips like you said. And it will be the hair slot..but when its finished it will cover all of the head except the face so no problems with missing hair. I'll post some more screens later today.

Still need to add the neck gaurd on the back of the helm and add more details to the trim around the main part of it. As always comments and crits welcome.

Thanks for the comments. As for seeing a Kajiit in one, I'm gonna try to make it look ok on all races, but I might need someone to script something so that it equips a larger model for the beast races since .egm files are a mystery to me and noone else has been able to enlighten me.

I think the model is finished now...waiting on DA's responce before I start to UV and texture it tho.

AH...I forgot the gem on the front between the eyes. Just added that and now the totals are 2124 triangles or 1107 polys.
