it IS the Imperial foothold, the HQ of the East Empire Company, where the fleet can be stationed, a maor trade port.... and the place of Duke Vedam Dren and also where the Grand Council is held

There's no thread I believe, so I'll put the question here.
What about the situation of Caldera and Pelagiad (they are imperial in some way, I think) ?

I believe they are the next step after the Bitter Coast is worked out. Right now, we're trying to get down just the couple towns and area's we have here. Because Vivec is so big, some very early planning has already started with it though.

exactly as Ixidors Bane has said....
as for Pelagiad, there isn't much to it... its an Imperial town... as is Caldera... however....

the Redoran claim the Gash-lands... Caldera is technically in the South Gash area... just above Hlaalu territorty... the Imperials have made a mining town there and the Hlaalu actually have great influence over it.. Telvanni agents were also skulking around the area.... though they were killed....

but the big tension is between Hlaalu and Redoran... and the Imperials in between.... the Imperials appreciate the warriors of the Redoran more than the Hlaalu... but appreciate the assimilation of the Hlaalu more than that of the Redoran.... they are more likely to side with Hlaalu though

What will become of Pelagia, being so isolated and all?
Perhaps ''handed over'' as a part of some pact or ''aggresive assimilation''?

Pelagiad...
probably slightly more fortified.. I was always impressed at the Legions.... they were around... but never seen.... thats why they were SO effective! ...invisible army....

so there may be legions that travel throughout Vvardenfell... or at least along the coasts keeping order and making the Imperial presence felt...

I think that Imperials will probably be heavily outnumbered, actually to with the Hlaalu's aid. But still, it'll be hard for them to hold supply lines.

ok....
during the Great House War....

Imperials, Hlaalu, and Nords will form an alliance, they will hold much of the southwestern Vvardenfell
Indoril, Dres, and Redoran will form their own triple alliance (the 2nd time they do this to fight Imperials)
Telvanni will recruit (on a large-scale) former slaves, beast-folk, and mercenaries

go to the mod's official website (still in construction), it has some good facts

Sorry, but I simply don't have the time to gather some information.
But times will change...

I plan to be able to connect to Silgrad, Blacklight, and Skyrim via boats...
inorder that the storyline does not get messed up...
I hope to have a Buoyant Armiger/Ordinator/Temple Priest stattioned at the docks of each port able to go to Vvardenfell...

they will give you Vivec's invitation, and ask if you want to meet him now or later... you decide...
anyhow when you go to Vvardenfell... depedning on the port... there will be a cutscene showing you brought from "A to B" then "B to C" and then you end up in font of Vivec when the fade out/in and you are no longer in a cutscene... you are initiated by a dialogue from Vivec, and from the dialogue.... and the questions....
you decide:
the Nerevarine
you learn also, the progression of the past 6 years.... Vivec, Duke Dren, Divayth Fyr (& Yagrum Bagarn), and Ashkhans and House leaders will be VERY important to the main quest (storyline)

Connect to Vvardenfell from:
Bal Falls (us)
Ebbedin (Silgrad)
Steadhelm (Silgrad)
Firewatch (us)
Winterhold (Skyrim)
Blacklight (blacklight)
People won't get to Bal Falls or Firewatch from Silgrad or any other place and have to go through us to get there so those can be disregarded in the Letter from Vivec scenario....
but definitely Vivec's representative in Ebbedin, Steadhelm, Winterhold, and Blacklight

********************************************
EDIT:

also, I hope that Wintorhold will connect with Dagon Fell
Khuul, Ald Velothi, Ald Redaynia, and Gnisis will connect with Blacklight
Gnaar Mok and Hlaalu Oad with Ebbedin and Steadhelm
Tel Mora and Sadrith Mora with Firewatch
Vivec, Ebonheart, Tel Branora, Hla Oad with Bal Falls

Ebonheart will have a bigger fleet now... as its supposed to... peraps in Ebonheart you will be able to travel everywhere... I mean Ebonheart and Vivec were supposed to be great hubs of activity....

about the Velothi Mts. mod of Ben Vagara... I dunno how we are going to connect by sea... because I don't know if Veranis (Verachen?) Hall reach the sea, and if Omanyi does either.....
