As suggested by InsanitySorrow, I've decided to make a thread specifically for the models I'm working on, to keep on track with everything without them all being in seperate topics which could get confusing. I feel that I can work at a modest speed when I fully dedicate my time toward modelling in Maya, and although none of my current models have been finished, they're showing significant progress and I will be sure to finish off as much as possible within reason. At the moment I'm working on a re-creation of the Chitin armour from Morrowind, as well as a Silt Strider model, which hopefully (and with some help) I'll be able to animate and will be accessible for player to use as a mountable creature, like the horses in Oblivion. The mountable Silt Strider is known as a Plain Strider, which has the same characteristics as the Silt Strider, except the Plain Strider's legs are much lower to the ground, like a spider.

As well as that, I've made a Chitin shortsword, club, an attempt at a Kwama Forager creature, and a Molecrab Helmet. If everything goes well with texturing, rigging etc. I'll be able to get these in game and working.

:goodjob: Sure that'd be great, the shortsword only needs texturing really, then it'll only need a bit of positioning and whatever would need to be done in NifSkope. :-)

The only thing I was worried about, is that there is another modder currently working on Chitin weapons I believe, I made thw shortsword and club as a test to see if I could make weapons. The club looks quite crap, too smooth , so I'll not be including that, but I could make an improved one later.

Yeah, wait I found thisthread, seems someone is making a few, but I have not heard of any new info on them so maybe you are safe to make them, who knows really =)

Yep. Know em very well. What about Oblivion Umbra?

I think there was a mod called legendary weapons, or something like that which included several unique artefact weapons, Chrysamere was included, IIRC. Or are you looking for completely new models?
