My computer has ~2,1 ghz processor, 756 mb ram (hopefully 1024 soon) and a Ati Radeon 9600Pro 128 mb.... So I know it's not great but I can make movies on a 800x600 resolution and that's good enough, even more than the normal beth movie....

I dont see a point for a marketing and RP maneger for a mod. partly since I think that trying to shove yourself into everything is just cheap, but partly since you guys have a lot of publicity anyways.

There's a nigh-on infinite number of modders out there, and if we don't inform them - hopefully in a non-intrusive and informative way - who we are and what we do, they'll go do something else or join another team, never having known that we would have interested them. At the same time we need to phrase our information so it's appealing, and select what information is appealing to other modders and players so that we can highlight it. It is important.

there is not much reason for a concept art guy either imho, since you aren't realy making anything totaly new. your concept art is your tes3 mod.

- town layouts; our towns can't be modded after the existing ones, and beautiful scenes are great for inspiration

- new objects; surely TES3 towns didn't have everything that should go into making a town. How would a Hlaalu Lightpost look for instance? A Redoran docks? A Redoran boat? Smile

Concept Artist
This is true as regards Vvardenfell's old buildings, creatures and such, but there are several associated projects. These are autonomous, but they could really use the boost that a versatile and inspired Concept Artist (and team) can provide at the moment.

KuKulza and others have been spending time on their forums, offering whatever assitance they can, and guiding them to the new ideas and tech that the team here is providing, but they have their own resposibilities building up.

The idea of associating is not only to achieve compatability and extend the available land area, but also to share resources and expertese where useful.

Lore Meister
While we are on the subject I would like to suggest that ST and the Associated Projects could do with a Lore Meister (and team) too.

These are vital skills, with Lore esp mostly handled by Razorwing atm, but his focus is mainly Administration and ST. He has only so much time and I suspect he and the other team leaders would appreciate some back up to bring essential lore into their forums and bring it to the attention of their teams and co-ordinate shared concepts and required differences...?

It's wonderful when someone like KKA to shares his Argonian passions with Black Marshes, but he is not a Lore Specialist, which means that the time he can devote to this aspect is limited nd creatively oriented.

What we really can use is a data-base focused approach from someone who loves to compile and collate information to provide a centre tailored to our needs where we can go to seek new ideas, check the basis on which we are working and the essential, living response that such a Meister can provide in working with us to keep us aware when there is Old Lore that can be useful to us.

Further this kind of Lore Meister should be acceptable to, and work with all the project leaders liaising between the projects and making the mayors and leaders aware of the events that are going on outside their own domains and esp those that have potential to be linked between the projects.

Tech Monkey
The third post in this category is clearly the Tech monkey - not just for discovering new tricks (would our pirate qualify for this?) but also to disseminate them to the Associated Projects as they are discovered.

If Arsonide had had this kind of back up maybe he would have stayed on with Elsweyr?

Well, this is all ideas, I do not have access to the Core so I have no power to push them further ouside my own domain in Lit Dev, but they are essential elements to create context in which the various specialists in the graphic artists can successfully work.
Because loyalty is not to be spoken of and honour is to be endured. Whilst courage is to be survived. These virtues belong to silence.

I think there should be a heightmapper, he could make all the heightmaps using the Obliivon heightmap editor, or using a outside program.

Rodan could be, since he's making the ST heightmap.

I could, but the things I usually make are for school, and aren't good examples for this. I could make that trailer and then show it to you?
