Hello From Planet Vista
So i finally just got Windows Vista Ultimate Up and running on my PC today and boy is it purty Big Grin so far i <3 the new design and features it runs well on my computer and i couldn't have asked for more I say from my first few minutes it was well worth the steep price tag of 399.99 usd. I so love the new desktop features and looks uber much better than XP.

hope all you other vista users or vista user hopefuls enjoy it just as I... Peanut butter jelly time

How do some of the older games run?

I heard it only runs Vista Specific games properly, others have bugs and bad problems. Also i heard that when installing you need the internet, if you don't have it the install messes up and you get one F.U.B.A.R program. This adds to lots of bugs already there.

Also some games don't even install, well so i have heard.

Not got it myself yet.

To add on to the rumors...
I heard that it is pretty much 64 bit xp with a new interface and new bugs.
But it might not be true. Confusedhrug:

Been beta testing for a while. Ran like a pig before release. No changes there...

the 64 bit version has some bugs to be worked with but i feel in the near future it will be addressed. on another note i have two 250gb hdd's so i have XP and all of my stuff on one and vista ultimate 64x on the other

as to the games part false it does not need to be a vista specific game to run just a few minutes ago i got phantasy star universe up and ruining after fighting gameguard's errors off. I'm going to try oblivion here soon ill keep ya's posted on that one Big Grin

I only heard about the game thing, can't check myself since i don't have Vista. Since there are loads of bugs i think i will wait a while before getting it.

Still i hope it runs Oblivion, oh and i got Phantasy Star Universe for the Xbox 360, gets pretty boring after a while.
