Hortator

Alright, when the Great House War comes, there will be 3 sides...
the Telvanni Alliance, the Dunmer Triple Alliance, and the Hlaalu-Imperial Alliance.
Traditionally in a great war, the Great Houses will select Hortators... But of course the PC can only be the Hortator of Redoran, Telvanni, or Hlaalu. The Indoril and Dres will have their own NPC Hortator

I think these should be the Hortator tokens....
Hlaalu - Belt of the Hortator
Redoran - Ring of the Hortator
Telvanni - Robe of the Hortator
Indoril - Mask of the Hortator
Dres - Fists of the Hortator

Sure, sounds good as long as it's the same items as the Hortator in TES3 recieved.

yeah, that was my first thought as well...

maybe we can upgrade the items a bit, but keep them relativly the same...

Maybe say i pick a certain house, and i become horator once i do that telvanni hlaalu also get horators. Say i went hlaalu redoran horator would be Llethri Sethri that councilman veteran of arenisan war. telvanni could be Aryons mercanry general forget his name. and hlaalu could be Yngling or someone.

for the other houses, i think it'd be the head counciler, or whoever has the most wartime expierience.

the Hortator is not the general, is not the strategist... is not the leader...
he is the leader of example... on the front lines rallying troops and leading with example....
charging into the enemy base... slaying the enemy Hortator... etc.etc.

like the Arbiter in Halo sort of... a leader that leads by example... the council's blade... on nearl suicidal missions
