I just use a medium size, fuzzy brush, set it to low opacity, low flow black to do teh shading, I think it gives more control.

Hmm, yes. Something a bit like the halls of the Blades would be good, only more primal and featuring the typical daubings and totemic features of an Argonian dwelling.

Actually, I think we have yet to decide on any Hist-based religious building. Personally, I think this would involve a lot of complicated carving-textures and carefully modelled pillars. If you were trying to create a building that was in honour of the Hist, I think you would need to reflect their woodland status somehow...

The hist room might be grown out of something, and carved out by argonians, not built by argonians, what if argonians, at least the people of the root have some kind of bio-technology.

I stopped the "viking mead hall dres house", it would have been too close to redoran and too far away from velothi, I'm opening a thread for dres.

They kind of do. The Hist can pretty much control their form in any way they choose, so they could grow their roots and branches into the shapes of furniture and buildings. That's a good idea.
