Renrijra Krin

The questline itself is to be quite orginal, but this will be one of the ones which won't need that much orginality..

Now burning something sounds good.. so those the second idea.. and most likely will the *insert town* be Rimmen.. The quest itself is just to ensure that the Player is dedicated to the Renrijra Krin. (or atleast not intending to be on good foot with the Legion)

There is a quite rough storyline.. But it is work in progress.. the current events is either fourth or fifth quest.. and the Renrijra is give a total of 17(maximum) quests..

Lets see:

First part would be to the Rimmen camp gets destroyed.. In this part player would first join, get initiated, and probably raid one or two caravans...

And experience a drunk night with the Renrijra Krin.

Then the player have to flee for Riverhold camp. Second part would start here.

There he is ordered to free any prisoners take from the Rimmen camp. (will most likely be two quests or just one hell of a long one.. first find them you know..)

Then there is a matter of a suspected traitor, not a necessary quest to complete.

After this nothing is set in stone. But most likely a meeting with at least one of the Tribes.

And I've some History of the Renrijra Krin under work.. (just some things that have happen.. just a backstory of why they're in the desert not in Leyawiin County)

I dont know if anyone here ever played Chrono Trigger on the SNES, but there was a hort part of the game where you were at a party and you had to go round asing the right people the right questions which would lead you onto the next "quest" and further the storyline.

Maybe somehting like that would be possoble between two points, wouldn't even have to be a relevant quest, maybe a side quest you get is you successfully convince a drunk to divulge information abut treasure, or something more storyline intensive, like one of the drunks is a traitor and asking him the right questions gets you information earlier so you can warn people to flee to riverhold early and you are granted a reward for level-headedness even in celebration?

just a thought...

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, but my internet died for me....

There probably won't much of a quest on the drunk night.. Its just so that the player realize that most people in the Renrijra Krin is and will always be bandits, survivalists and cares most for themself. If player gets killed.. too bad for him..

And talking to people will be what that quest will be most about..

Now there is no traitor as far as the assault is concerned.. just a stupid imperial who hasn't lived the life of a Renrij for long(not that anyone will know that).. who later turn traitor when the Imperial Legion offer him a way out of capture... (Presumably with some protection) (and it won't be clear if he actually has betrayed the Krin)

had another idea for the thing that "no loyal imperial would do". How about a quest that involves carefully framing a high-ranking legion officer to look like a fool not worthy of a commanding position. Something like the thieves guild quest in vanilla that involved getting heronymous lex moved out of the IC. It could involve a series of small quests that involved impersonating a messanger and leading legion troops into traps set by the Krin, by order of *high ranking legion officer*. A series of actions to manipulate his orders to make him look like a failed commander (maybe just one or two), followed by something to frame him for hording legion taxes to support his personal finances (placing expensive item in his room, followed by delivering a forged financial reciept to the next in the command chain, or someone above him....). The final act would be to embarass him in front of a crowd of nobles, something akin to the daedric quest for Sanguine or replacing his speech with one that is insulting and hilarious.

Its a somewhat grandios quest for 2nd quest in a faction.. before you're even a proper member.

How about as simple as it can get:
Go kill the guy who survived the caravan attack[where you first meet them]. Then a Legion Patrol comes right before you get to.. and you either just kill him and run(at least that what you should do). Or wait till he heads for Rimmen(or Cyrodiil? as he got nothing to trade) and kill him. You'd probably get a bounty for killing him in front of the Legion Patrol.
