Sure i know about the materials used for many buildings, the bridge is made of wood... a lot of it, it's a very long bridge.
I have seen some large round stones in the river to support the wooden bridge.
When you google for the bridge, i suggest you drop the U on the end of it's name (it's a silent u) so search for Togetsukyo, not Togetsukyou Wink
The same thing goes for many other japanese words spelled in english, beware the evil u's that do not exist! Big Grin
But you can always just ask me about something and i will tell you what i know about it.

I've found the photo of the bridge. So everything is wooden here?

I think the original bridge is very, very, very old, the 9th century, the picture you got there shows a modern reproduction, the building material are concrete, steel and tarmac... i think it's from around 1930AD.
Whatever this bridge is made of, old japanese bridges are seldom made of stone, it should be fine if you make it all wood.

...! Oooh, i see you posted a picture already... nice! :goodjob:

I think I'll try the red bridge and Izumo Shrine. What are those "red" materials? I think I can just use red colour, make little distortion on it in photoshop and it will be nice, but just out of curiosity - what is the material of those red parts of buildings?

WOOD Tongue

It's just red laquer.

That reminds me, the lookout tower is made of wood, but arrows don't stick in it.

The collision needs to be messed up in Nifskope somehow. But it can be done later. I'm starting to work on Izumo Shrine. Wink
