rethinking alliances for the Great House War

yeah, i guess i was reading into it a bit much

so Redoran manager, how do you feel 'bout it?
our old idea was this:
3 alliances...
a strong Hlaalu-Imperial one
a very strong Redoran-Indoril-Dres
and a weaker but versatile Telvanni-Ashlander-Daedra-betmer

but I think we now conformed to current lore and seeing as how Dres is on Helseth's side and Indoril is dying
we could drop the Daedric Cults as a military ally... and we needed to re-arrange

so we have two strong alliances
simpler, newer, and hopefully better
personally I actualyl kinda like it better

i aree that having two alliances simplifies things in some ways, but i do have a few inquires, would we continue the idea of having the player work to a certain house level before the MQ kicks in? Also how are we going to handle the Grand Council Reformation? Maybe you are (or become) your Houses envoy?

Redoran-Telvanni-Betmeri-Ashlander-Indoril

yes, looks uneven, but it isn't...

and about the reforming of the Grand Council system... I think maybe there should be some Grand Council debates you can be a witness of before the war begins and you actually take part in it... and yeah, you can be your side's trusted envoy to get to the delegate....
although maybe for the last meeting of it before war, the leaders of the Houses will actually meet?

i like that, you work your way through the house until you become the Grand Council Envoy, then once you hit that rank, the house war part of the MQ kicks in...
