Do you thnk we need a Haerter's Gap sign? I think it would be quite nice to have one pointing in the right direction from Cheydinhal.

It would be good...but it depends how overworked Psychotic and our other visual dev guys get.

In terms of PR, I've PMed GB with the ESF post I made up. Additionally, I think Corwyn's concept art would be awesome to display (and -Sulan's- and Aun's, of course

) Perhaps we could get screenies from everyone whos done stuff (it'd be better if we wait for GB's beta so it's all in one place)?

I kinda got a bit burnt out doing quests (it does get a bit monotonous making topic after topic) but I'll try and get the Watermelon and Census quest done ASAP. As I mentioned in the White Witch thread, I think, I forgot the White Witch's dialogue, too. Doh!

Psychotic's right. No one should get burnt out on this. I know we're putting in a lot of time on this, but if it becomes a chore - or an obsession - it's time to sit back and watch a football game or something.

Anyway, I should have something pretty well integrated for you this evening, and ready to start internal beta testing. Do you think we should put a note in the common room that we'd like people to sign up for testing?

And, sadly, I may have to backtrack on my "free" weekend. We just got "slammed" with more work, and Sat and Sun are now possible workdays because of the load. Frown

@Siegfried: Thanks, and ok. Don't know if the claymore looks to Nordic though. I'm planning to make a shield mo match the swords, I might try something with the Dwemer shield. But I also think we should have a re-tex of the town guard shield for the guards of Hearter's Gap, something similar to the other shield I made, just with a different shield knot/symbol.

Don't get to burnt out on this guys, if you're tired try switching to some simple worldbuilding, or take a break from modding completely.

Greybeard, once you have the internal out feel free to put a beta tester request in the Common Room.

Psychotic, you don't have to use only Dwemer items for the Nordic Silver Weapons, if you can find a weapon, maybe Fine Steel, that fits better feel free to use it.

Do you think we will need a video trailer? Looks of other mod groups have made them for theirs, one for Haerter's Gap would be quite nice, sort of circling over the top(like in the one at the start of the game) and them it goes black and you see the face of the White Witch quickly and then it fades out and says,

TES:IV

Skyrim

Which then fades out and says,

Haerter's Gap

Which then fades out again and has a credits page. The music would be adventurus, then when it shows the white witch there should be a loud drum beat, then another one when it shows TES:IV Skyrim and then another one for when it says Haerter's Gap and then it would finish in the starting music for the credits page. Also after the credits page it should show a page saying the release date.

Edit:We also need to get a snowy retex of the Skingrad castle roofs.

All the credits should go at the end though. Sure we can make a trailer, some new weapons, some ass kicking, new landscapes... you get the idea.

Psychotic do you think that you would be able to do a quick retex of the Skingrad roofs, like putting snow on the top? As its something that needs to get done quite soon, also if your've got time do you think you could finish texturing Greybeards wall pieces? Don't worry about puting colision on them though that can be done later if you don't think you can do it.

Edit: I forgot to say that I just did my frst retex of a robe and it turned out really well, I PMed it to GB and it will be the robe of the mage in the quest, Marker, what Marker?.

As I merge, I'm finding some references I don't understand. Maybe you guys can shed some light:

"Throne Sit" seems to be an animation file, perhaps it should be attached to the White Witch's throne? Anyway, it comes up as an error, and the throne only has the animation reference "Sit 14"

I'll post more as I work through the merges.

Oh, TOYB, I have a new texture on the stone wall, with collision (have to do the post yet.)

There's a problem with the skeleton idle animations in Tjernagel's basement.

The retex of the Skingrad roofs is a higher priority then the Falmer Ruins. The Skingrad roof retex are a must, because at the moment they look very out-of-place without snow on them.

As I said I will do them before we release anything with enough time left for testing. In the meantime I suggest you see if there is anyone with a bit less work on their hands.

I found the skeleton problem. I learned that even a headless skeleton needs the head animation files. Confused

No idea, I don't remember putting in any animations, just a schedule for the Witch that makes her sit on her throne until you get too close.

Well, thanks for the offer. That's very kind of you. At the moment, I think we could use another re-texturer, if that's in your area. We're just trying to finish up a lot of loose ends right now, and shortly will need beta testers. To test properly, you'll probably need a level 30-40 character.

As I said the Skingrad roofs need a snowy re-texture. Ask Greybeard for the IDs of the objects with roofs that need re-texturing because he has the latest version of the teaser. If you could do that, it would be great. Yes

The houses are: BrumaHouseLower01,02,03,Inn. They might all use the same texture file. Don't go overboard with the snow, just make them somewhat similar to the Farmhouses with snow.

btw, I'm uploading the update to Fileplanet now. There are still a lot of bugs in it (unlinked stuff as well as doubled stuff), but I'll be fixing that as quickly as I can.
