Well, I've just been trying to upload at FilePlanet, and their server keeps resetting.
I've got the new roofs. Thanks!
Guess I'll try FileFront - tomorrow; it's late. - 'nite.

Now, this is ridiculous! FilePlanet seems to be down and FileFront is down for maintenance.
Greenie, I'm about to try your "yousendit"

cool it is also awsome if you wanto make a secret thing for your mod so
no one knows that you made it untill its realsed. have fun sure it only
last for 7 days but for some uploads you dont realy need more and you
can upgrade to the 30 day version too. and not only that but you can
send a download link right to someones e-mail adress or just your own
if you want.

TOYB, do you want me to add a guard to the Skyrim Office who checks you for illegal goods or substances?

Yep, illeagal items should be dwemer armour, glass, elven, and skoma.
If found the Pc should have the choice of returning once they have
gotten rid of the items or having them put in a chest for pick up at a
later date. Also if the PC has a bounty they shouldn't be able to
continue through to Skyrimuntil they have gotten it taken it.

I think having chest to keep your stuff in is too much of a scripting
problem. I'm just thinking about Hauk (the guard) saying "Please
dispose of these goods, otherwise entry will be forbidden into Skyrim"
Not exactly that but you get my point.

Well having read your forums instead of studying for my exams
(excellent distraction btw) I might as well try to make a contribution
Smokidan: I dont think the permanent chest necessarily is much of a
scripting problem. Simply add a couple of containers (storage boxes,
much like at a train station) and make one of them persistent and
locked by a key.
Then have the customs officer offer you the option of renting a storage
container for some amount of gold. If you do so you get a key to the
persistent container and you can use it to store your dwemer equipment
and what not. |

I'll upload the Nordic Silver weapon set very soon (just need to do the
icons), hopefully you can include that too. The guards can use some of
the weapons and some can be for sale perhaps.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Unfortunely I?m currently pretty short on free time but I will gladly
lend a hand when/if I can. Just don't expect me to take any large
claims atm. As for being experienced with the CS, not really
. I've only messed about a bit in it, mainly famililarised myself with how the scripting is structured and stuff like that.
Greybeard asked so here is a short bit about me:
25 y.o. student from Sweden, majoring in software engineering /
engineering physics and currently trying to finish up my Master's (thus
the lack of free time).
My main interest would probably be scripting but time permitting I
would happily try my hand at quest building or doing some smaller
settlement.
Unfortunely I know very little about 3d modeling and texturing
Anyways if you need some script written feel free to send me a PM or mail, but don't expect me to tackle anything large atm

Well if you had a tad bit of small time you could help out Smokindan
with making the quests for HG, because at the moment it's only him on
his lonsome.

When I load the .esp in the CS, I get 8 similar errors about
non-permanent references. Ingame, I get the dialogue ID in the dialogue
box instead of a comment like "White Witch." I expect I can fix them,
but since this is our first "learning" mod, I'd like to find out why
these things are happening and how to avoid them in the future. |

Yeah, I'm going to have him put his quests directly into the main file so that he can edit and tweak them at his leasure.

That's where I spend most of my time - deleting dup's. It's not so bad
with the int's, but sometimes the dialogues and items, etc., get
duplicated as well, that that's a little trickier to delete. That's why
I'd like you and TOYB to work right in the HG .esp when putting in the
quests and dialogue. Oh, and
Make lots of backups.
I've learned that one often.

Apparently filefront only allows downloads for 48 hours?! I tried to
download the silver weapons set and got the same message.
I've got to find a more reliable and accessable place!!!
