Dwnlding as I type. Q. is Psychotics ice cave tileset included in the
dwnld? If not it will have to be included in the finalas people aren't
going to be wanting to make two dwnlds.

It is here, but not in the beta03. That's why I asked earlier whether
this was to be included in HG. btw, it's an awesome set with the new
battle axe. Maybe I should hang the set, along with the new shields, in
the public house.
When I get the file from SD, I'll put all the new stuff in and release
04. I'm also nearly finished with the hide stretching rack, but the
bearskin will fit only outdoors. The one for wolf pelts will fit in
Clyde's. |

Great, when can we expect the next beta? Also how many quests has Smokindan managed to get through so far?

Just a heads up, ghost has dropped the helm project along with all his
others, so the helmets will not be able to make it into Haerter Gap. |

Okay so what's left to do apart from voice acting? Also I do not think
it will be possible to get the Riekling in there as it still needs a
full voice list(Which Siegfried hasn't given me a dialouge script for)
and the textures are not finished.

Sacarrow tried, but in the end couldn't pull it off. I know a guy who
made a new Dwemer bow only from stock OB meshes, he must how. I'll
contact his as soon as I can.

In another area, I'm trying to remember everyone who worked on this project. Here's what I have so far:
Silgrad community members who have participated in this mod (alphabetical order):
Flesh
Green @nti1-n00b
Greybeard
Gundalf
Psychotic
Raggidman
Razorwing
Siegfried
Smokindan
-Sulan-
TheOldYeBard
Xifr
Guests who have contributed to this mod:
(bear claw logo) Russian team in the Skyrim
(ice blade of the monarch) Legion5v2
(Nordic silver broadsword) Imperial Fishy
I'm sure this list isn't complete (and possibly incorrect as well.) I
also wasn't sure how to handle our membership (especially ST vs Skyrim)
since some are working in several areas. Actually, I don't think it
makes much difference, but someone might wish to dispute that. |

That's OK, Bard. I've merged it with the .esp I'm working on as it had to be in there as part of my two quests.
I won't be uploading the final version of my six quests but it's close
enough. I haven't put the watermelon script in yet because I'm unsure
of it (that's what testing's for
) For that quest, the watermelons also need to be changed from normal
watermelons to unique ones. All the other quests, including the Census
one should be OK. There are a few duplicate problems in terms of
dialogue but no adverse problems have been encountered.
The White Witch's dialogue is in but she needs to start attacking the
PC when she automatically exits the convo. Haerter's Ghost is now a
permanent reference and Tjernagel is a female.
Other fixes: lighting is a big issue, especially in Clydes (way too
bright) and RAI needs to be added (perhaps not to some quest NPCs like
the Witch.)
I can't seem to upload to FileFront, I'll find another hosting site and get it up in the next few hours

I got FileFactory to work, per TOYB's suggestion. I had real problems
trying to get FileFront and FilePlanet to work. Also, TOYB has started
to post bugs, and I hope others do as well. And I've got a lot of new
material to put in as well. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get Flesh's
trees to work, and a few other odds-n-ends.
...end of line...

Most the lighting problems stem from people changing the normal light
which should be grey to horrible bright red or green colours, and also
diretional light has been used which it shouldn't have been.

Changes are as above.

Yah, I think I'm guilty of directional light (you mean the globes
instead of the actual light source?) and the only really horrible
lighting is Clyde's which has been changed for some reason.

I wasn't refering to your globes as such, but all interior light should
be comming from a source. I was refering to the directional light found
in the edit function of a cell, along with ambient and fog. Also fog
should never change from black, ever unless it's a special cell like an
Oblivion cave.
Here's a list of things that need to be fixed.
The new buildings still have the overhang from the old bruma thatch roofs, it needs to be removed as it looks horible.
The entrance to the Ice Cave still needs to be put in a proper place, as in the middle of bruma isn't that appropriate
The MW Office needs to be detailed some more, also everthing in the cell is either floating or bleeding.
Here is an .esp of fixs.
What quests are left to do Smokindan?

I've done the Census quest, Too Many A Melon, The White Witch, Where
Art Thou Traveller (the Missing Traveller one), Heritage Unearthed and
the Cold Argonian. As I mentioned, unless we find bugs which we will
, the only one that isn't complete is the Too Many A Melon one.
That leaves:
+ A Tempting Offer
+ Marker? What Marker?
+ Besieged by Bears
+ Whatever I've missed out...

Nothing...I just haven't put in the script for the melons yet or made
the melons in the Skyrim Office unique. I just wanted to submit what I
had so we can get a new beta out. Then we can fix/add what we need.

Psychotic, I'm trying to put your silver weapons set into the right
files. The texture files have a lot of different names. Did you retex
files without renaming them? If so, would you mind if I made them all
consistent? |

Yes, sorry about that. And do make them all consistent, but you will
have to change the file paths for the textures in the meshes.

Great!
Btw, I tried your method of merging meshes in NifScope and when I put
the thing in the CS (more precisely on an NPC and then put the NPC in
the render window) it crashed it. I might have done something wrong
though.
Did you actually test the method by putting a mesh in the CS?

Yeah. I merged my two wall meshes and put them in the CS. It seemed to work, but I really didn't do much testing.

Psychotic, I just rechecked my merged file in the CS. First installed
the mesh, put it in HG and moved it around a bit. No problems. Then I
saved the file (Yes, I backed up just in case
) Again fine. But when I shut down the CS, I got that goofy message
about sending a notice to Microsoft. So I loaded the CS back up with
the merged mesh in. It was still there and everything looked fine, and
when I shut down the CS, that worked also. So, at least for one static,
one time, it worked. It's quite a workaround, though, and my be buggy.
Good luck with your attempts.
TOYB, light bonemold it is, then. Yeah, there are some things in the
quests for SD to fix yet. And no, I haven't gotten to your esp yet.
Also, I have an "Ice Cave Quest" .esp from a week or two ago - Is that
supposed to get merged also, or was that superceded by "Frozen
Souls.esp"?
I can't find any file that has the work I did on the MW customs office (about 100 or so statics
) Somehow either I crashed or forgot to save. DUH!
