Hi I'm Ken. I am 63 years old and retired. Although my Elder Scrolls experience goes back to Arena, I have done very little modding. My background is in electronic repair. I have been getting my feet wet with the construction set and spent some time downloading utilities and tutorials. So at some point You just got to jump right in and I am ready.

Welcome Ken. Modding gets very addictive, you'll soon find out.

And jumping in is exactly what you should do! That's how work gets done.

I'd start with a house or two, and then move up to quests, but it's all about how you want to do it.

and most importantly, have fun with modding. Don't overload yourself with work, or it becomes just that - work.

Thank you. Just Installed Silgrad Towers 2.5 and I thought to explore for a few hours. Then try my hand at a small mod. Should I download the latest esm or just mod something with the public download.

Download the latest ESM and assets definitely. They have a tremendous amount more than 2.5, which is not designed for modding. I've found that there isn't much to do in the 2.5 ESM, so you may as well get the new one.

a note* the modding ESMs are not designed for playing and exploring, and do NOT work with the Silgrad Travel esp. But using the player.cow silgradtowerland 1 1 (or some other set of coordinates) you can get to the silgrad landscape and explore a much more complete, region generated area.

And then you can mod away once you find something you'd like to do

You could claim an interior in Soluthis/ Ebbedin etc.
Check the claims section.

How to start?

Yes, check the Source.
Don't use the ST esm v2.5 for modding nor the travel esp because these files are load order independent.

Hello!

Just registered and now I'm downloading the mod.
I have played Morrowind about 30 minutes so I don't know much about it but I'm sure I can still join modding ST. =)
