light bonemold armor is now in. Doors are next.
Thanks TOYB, but that's the one where I added (and have to re-add) all
of the neat stuff from the Reich-Parkeep database. I'm just glad I
didn't toss the file when I got the stuff I wanted. - Or on second
thought, I could get the meshes into the CS and hand the masterfile
over to you for tomorrow. I can still work on finishing a couple of
models, and get the camp and cave entrance moved using the .esm. That'd
give you time to merge your bugfix file as well. |

OK TOYB, your loss.
Doors are done and working, including the new one to the Skyrim offices.
I'm working on the path to the camp and cave atm.

Okay I should have the Dunmer Temple/Shrine thing done in a short
while, by the way what would be a suitible name for it at the moment
it's just "Haerter's Gap Temple".

Hi, Smokindan! Nice you could join us. I've been picking at a lot of
the little stuff that still needs doing, and TOYB is finding more
faster than I can repair.
Anyway, I've got a half-dozen or so errors like this:
"Unable to insert topic info (01001F93) into topic
'1SKxx03xxSDxDeposit" (01001F92),quest (00000000)." and about every
third is our old bashing comment. I'll work for a bit on the new path
to the camp and cave and then send the file back to you.
This reminds me of years past when Inferno Str1ke and I would pass a file back and forth on a weekly basis at TR.

The flora mentioned was to go in the MW office not in the shrine, also
I reconsider the ash pit now because of the lack of space, though once
you see it you will nstantly now its dunmer

Here it is, it needs a pathgraid and the Npc needs RAI, also it needs a
ladder to the MW office which you can do greybeard so not to mix and
match models. Also it needs some ST models and what not, also it could
do with some ST books.

And the shrine looks good, TOYB. Just a bit bare on the top floor but I'm guessing you're waiting for some Dunmer furniture...
So, I'm ironing out this "Deposit" bug, right?

Sorry, TOYB. It'll be in the next hand-off, though. (It takes over half
an hour just to upload the file now.) We're over 20 meg, and I still
have at least 2 more files and Flesh's trees to put in. We'll be around
30 meg even without the sound/voice files. |

which will need to go in there. Also has the taven door scripts been
put on the doors yet?

the other one which says something about no-quest refs. I'll try
deleting the existing one and make a new topic.

Once haerter's Gap is finished I'm going to try and learn how to make
quests, but in the mean time I can't really do anything. Also you need
to put your quests into the .esm before it can be tesed properly.

Here's the fixes + the new quests with IDs. The only warning which appears now should be the ThroneSit one.

Thanks, Smokindan! I do have a pretty good idea of how to do quests,
but I have to keep focused on the statics part of the project. I
realize that you and Psychotic are probably getting a little burnt out
(as am I), but there's not a lot left and it'll be SO satisfying to see
this thing published. Just wait til we hear from all the players (all
that whining!)
Things that will NOT get in by Friday:
Voice acting (but I need 3-sec, 5-sec and 8-sec blank sounds for spacers so that the Player has time to read the dialogue.)
Rieklings
Things that I HOPE WILL get in by Friday (but aren't ready yet):
Leveled list for creatures
New tree models
One thing MUST happen: playtesting
The only other option that I see is to release as a "beta" and invite
people to send their comments for an updated "final" release.
I spent 14 hours mostly fixing things yesterday, and after church, I'll
probably put in about 10 more. It's amazing what can actually be done
when you don't have to work!
By the end of the day, I should have the path to the cave done, the
hide stretcher done and hopefully the ST statics back in the MW office.
You may have noticed that I haven't moved the old cave entrance. If someone wants to make a small cave to go with it (just for a diversion; don't feel compelled), I'll put in new statics for the Ice Cave entrance.
And now, I need someone to add the creatures. TOYB?
The MW shrine is in.

I'll take the other cave. Also remember I'm also making a prison/jail
for Haerter's Gap that connects to the Imp Office. The quest animals in
besieged by bears and marker what marker need to be placed before spawn
creatures are placed so we don't get a swarm of them.
Also you forgot to put Greybeard in that list, the Bear Legion Shield,
the Skingrad roof retex with snow, the fix for that throne package,
tavern scripts(for the doors when you pay), Lady N.s fur beds, RAI and
Pathgrids, Clyde hasn't been made, only half of the quests are made,
ESF thread to get people excited, lots more other small stuff.
Edit: Here is the Imp Office Prison thingy, there isn't a pathgrid and
have decorated it to look like no one really goes down there that much.
I should have the cave uploaded after school

I finally got the border disabled so here is some bugs I picked up in Beta four .esp:
*Any Npc without specific Dialouge in Haerter's Gap now when you talk
to them think they are Yulhur and say that your've finished the
watermelon quest and you've got a choice of three things.
*There is no teleportation into the Nord Office.
*I found the fat Nord that is ment to be in the Nord barraks on the other side of the wall.
*RAI needs to be done for nearly every Npc.
*In the Ice cave about 2/3 of the Ice wraith need to be deleted, also
the frst matrach(sp) needs to be a bit smaller as he gets stuck on the
roof stalagmites, also when I was in there the white witch was no where
to be seen, also the flatforms don't move and the Slaughterfish need to
be removed as they are outside fish. Also that pit with the spikes in
it needs an instant death colision box on it, as I feel down in God
Mode and couldn't get back up, also the coffins need to be removed and
the normal lighting in the cave needs to be brighter.
*Please merge my latest fix as posted above if you haven't already.
*The path up the mountain side needs to be worked on as there is to
many dodgy angles and verticles also it is too hard to get up.
*Once again door scripts need to be done for the public house and the "rent a bed" dialouge needs to be done.
*Pathgrids in the public house need to be better.
*The Ice slave in theif armour doesn't have an Ice shader effect.
*Change the "Falmer Coffin" thing to a chest in the ice cave.
*You didn't include the bonemold raiment in the Dwnld so it comes up with a person missing a torso.
*Haerter's Ghost doesn't have a ghost shader effect. Also the Skelleton
has a head, even though I thought I had removed it in the CS, this will
have to be sorted out.

About the ice cave, I don't think the lighting needs to be brighter, if
anything I think some of the lights (fires) need to be removed so the
atmosphere is darker and more challenging for the player. Also you
mentioned coffins, I presume you're talking about the stone chests, if
so I don't see why they need to be removed, maybe just remove some of
them but not all.
And the Ice Wraith should probably stay as they are, unless they cause
a big frame rate hit in their current numbers. I haven't encountered
any of the other bugs related to the cave when testing it, I'm guessing
it's something that occurred when the .esp was merged.

All of the fires need to be removed and both Ice caves need to be
brighter. Also ALL of the stone chests need to be removed, they can't
just be there because they look cool, because first of all they don't
and second of all it doesn't make sense that they should be there.
There is to many Ice Wraiths and it doesn't make it fun, I got swarmed
by about 10 of them in a constant stream and it became a hack and
slash; not fun. Also you didn't explain in your post why the Whie Witch
wasn't there...

Some of the fires make a more interesting ambient. The stone chests are
there for looting and nothin else, all the Beth dungeons have
containers with loot scatered around the place. And what do you mean
hack-and-slash isn't fun, that's what OB lacks (sure Manimarco had an
undead army of 50 undead creatures all in all, BIG threat to Cyrodiil
). You really need to get the Adrenaline Oblivion mod. I said I haven't
encountered any of the other bugs when I tested the cave, and I tested
it about 8 times.
